Our people are energized by challenges and sprint to find unorthodox solutions. We plan, activate and measure as one team, and we’re not afraid to push boundaries and test our way to success. Coders are Relentless, Gritty, Nimble humans who are always striving to be better.
With teams across the U.S., you’ll find more than a job at Code3. You’ll find a place to grow, make an impact, and do your best work alongside a team that’s invested in your success.
We are searching for an experienced Head of Marketing to lead Code3’s marketing strategy and function. In this role, you’ll define what Code3 should be known for, identify the audiences and accounts that matter most, and build a marketing engine that strengthens our reputation, creates demand and contributes meaningfully to growth. You’ll own the full marketing ecosystem—from brand and positioning to thought leadership, content, executive visibility, events, PR, partnerships and demand generation. Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll work closely with our Growth team, executive leadership and senior subject matter experts across the agency. This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who can set the strategy, create the operating model and execute alongside a lean internal team and external partners.
What you’ll do:
- Define and evolve Code3’s positioning and go-to-market narrative, creating a clear and differentiated answer to why Code3 and why now
- Identify the few topics and market conversations Code3 should own and build sustained thought leadership and proprietary IP around them
- Build executive visibility programs that establish Code3 leaders and subject matter experts as credible voices in the market
- Partner closely with Growth leadership to define priority accounts and audiences and build an account-based marketing strategy that increases awareness, engagement and opportunity
- Develop marketing programs that create and accelerate pipeline, with clear measurement across awareness, engagement, account penetration and marketing-influenced revenue
- Create a focused events and experiences strategy, including executive dinners, roundtables, webinars, partner programming and key industry moments
- Turn Code3’s strongest client work, platform relationships and expertise into compelling stories, case studies, awards, PR opportunities and co-marketing programs
- Own Code3’s marketing strategy, annual plan and budget, leading a lean internal team and external partners across PR, research, events, design and production
- Establish clear priorities and operating rhythms that allow a small team to produce outsized impact and build the marketing organization over time based on demonstrated business needs
Who will love this role:
- A strategic marketer who is equally comfortable developing positioning with the executive team and rolling up their sleeves to get something into market
- A builder who sees the opportunity to create a modern marketing function rather than simply manage an existing playbook
- A commercially minded leader who believes marketing should build reputation, create demand and contribute to pipeline—not just generate activity
- A sharp storyteller who can turn Code3’s people, expertise, client work and partnerships into distinctive ideas the market remembers
- A collaborative leader who can work across Growth, Client Partnership, Activation and executive leadership to turn agency expertise into market-facing programs
You should have:
- BA or BS degree
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within an agency, consultancy, technology company, or other high-consideration professional services business
- Experience building or significantly evolving a brand and marketing function, with a strong understanding of how B2B marketing creates demand and influences complex sales cycles
- Demonstrated ability to connect marketing strategy to pipeline and commercial outcomes
- Strong brand and positioning instincts, with the ability to translate complex capabilities into simple, differentiated stories
- Experience developing thought leadership, proprietary research, executive visibility, account-based marketing, events, PR, partnerships and paid distribution
- Experience partnering closely with Sales, Growth or Business Development teams
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, communication and executive presence
- A bias toward action and comfort operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment with a lean team
- Agency experience is highly valued, particularly within media, digital, creative, performance marketing or technology-enabled agencies
