About this job

This role will lead the planning and delivery of high-visibility marketing programs and events that span multiple teams, channels, and business objectives. You will be the connective tissue between marketing strategy and operational execution, translating business goals into structured, well-scoped programs with clear owners, timelines, and success criteria.

You will own the full program lifecycle: defining goals and scope, building roadmaps and operating plans, orchestrating cross-functional teams, managing risk and dependencies, and establishing the mechanisms that keep programs on track. You will also be responsible for measuring outcomes, communicating results to leadership, and continuously improving how marketing programs are run.

This role set direction for the programs you own and help drive deep integration for public sector across the different marketing business groups.

Key job responsibilities

Program Strategy & Planning

Define the vision, goals, scope, and success criteria for complex, cross-functional marketing programs aligned to business priorities.

Support building multi-quarter cadences, operating plans, and initiatives against capacity, budget, and impact.

Translate ambiguous or competing business objectives into structured programs with clear owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

Partner with marketing leadership on annual and quarterly planning, resource allocation, and prioritization trade-offs.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Lead and align cross-functional teams across events and integrated campaign planning.

Drive the operating mechanisms: reviews, status cadences, and decision forums, that keep programs moving.

Act as the single point of accountability for program outcomes, resolving conflicts and removing blockers quickly.

Execution & Delivery

Oversee the end-to-end execution of industry marketing campaigns and programs, managing scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and risk.

Build and manage a cohesive events framework with a defined playbook, shared standards, consistent and disciplined execution, with a clear line of sight from participation to Marketing-Engaged Qualified Pipeline (MEQP) and launched pipeline. This role would own the strategy and execution across all events.

Oversee the management of our classified websites and work collaboratively with the PMM’s on the overall messaging on the AWS/PS website.

Proactively identify risks and dependencies, develop mitigation plans, and escalate with recommended paths forward.

Maintain a high operational bar, ensuring deliverables are on time, on budget, and meet quality expectations.

Manage program documentation, tooling, and workflows so that status and decisions are transparent to all stakeholders.

Measurement & Optimization

Measure the KPIs for each program and track performance.

Analyze program results, surface insights, and translate learnings into recommendations that improve future outcomes.

Report program health, impact, and ROI to leadership through clear, concise, data-driven narratives.

Continuously improve program management practices, templates, and mechanisms across the marketing organization.
