About this job

The Learning Technology Specialist plays a vital role within the People Technology team by managing and supporting Datadog’s learning ecosystem. This role ensures platform stability, optimizes LMS operations, and delivers technical solutions that empower Datadog employees and partners to scale their learning and growth.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture—the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex LMS and learning technology issues, investigating root causes, coordinating resolutions, and documenting outcomes.
  • Maintain the vendor issue log and coordinate incidents across multiple internal and external stakeholders by gathering technical evidence, submitting clear issue reports, tracking progress, testing fixes, and communicating updates.
  • Participate in platform upgrades, release testing, and continuous-improvement initiatives, creating and maintaining related process and technical documentation, testing plans, release notes, and knowledge resources.
  • Contribute to the adoption of automation and AI capabilities within the learning technology ecosystem.
  • Support the administration and optimization of the LMS, including configurations, permissions, enrollments, learning content, reporting, and data quality.
  • Coordinate reviews of the learning technology stack and support integrations between the LMS and systems such as HRIS, identity management, content providers, reporting platforms, and other learning tools.

Who You Are:

  • You have 3+ years of experience administering or supporting learning technology, HR technology, business systems, or a comparable SaaS platform. Experience with Docebo is strongly preferred.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business management, information systems, computer science, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
  • You are familiar with system integrations, APIs, data flows, authentication, and provisioning concepts such as SSO.
  • You are knowledgeable about digital-learning and authoring tools, such as Articulate 360, and common learning content standards, including SCORM.
  • You are a structured problem-solver who can investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions across internal teams and external vendors.
  • You are process-oriented, produce clear and maintainable documentation, and can coordinate work across multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
