We are looking for a technical product management professional to join the fast-paced Agilent Mass Spectrometry team. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of Agilent's Single Quadrupole and TOF mass spectrometry portfolio, serving customers across pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, environmental, food, forensic, and academic markets. These innovative products enable scientists to address complex analytical challenges while improving productivity and workflow efficiency.

To accomplish this, you will have the responsibility to:

  • Develop product requirements, business cases, and technology roadmaps based on Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic business priorities.
  • Partner with R&D teams to define, prioritize, and guide product development activities from concept through commercialization.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, unmet customer needs, and portfolio investment priorities.
  • Collaborate across R&D, marketing, finance, manufacturing, customer support, applications, and sales organizations to ensure successful development and launch of new products and workflow solutions.
  • Represent the product portfolio in customer engagements, executive reviews, industry conferences, and strategic planning activities.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive developments to help guide future product and technology investments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Applications, R&D, Marketing, or Sales within the analytical instrumentation industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of LC/MS instrumentation, including Single Quadrupole and TOF mass spectrometry platforms.
  • Understanding of customer workflows and applications across pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, environmental, food, forensic, and academic markets.
  • Experience translating customer needs, Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence into product requirements, business cases, and product roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across global cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, finance, manufacturing, product support, sales, and executive leadership.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to prioritize opportunities, align stakeholders, and drive execution against strategic objectives and timelines.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with commercial and technical teams to develop and launch products that deliver customer value and support business growth objectives.
  • Ability to travel globally (approximately 25%), including customer visits, industry conferences, and internal business meetings.
