This is an onsite role requiring 4 days a week in our New York City Office.

Overview
We're hiring a hands-on, people-first Program Manager, Onboarding to join our growing Learning + Development team at Fanatics Betting & Gaming in New York. In this role, you'll own the in-person onboarding experience at our New York hub, where starting in 2027 every new hire spends their first week getting their ID verified, picking up their laptop, learning the business, and meeting the people they'll work with.

You'll operate at the intersection of facilitation, program operations, and stakeholder partnership: running each cohort from logistics to delivery, keeping orientation content current, and partnering with Talent Acquisition, IT, and hiring managers to ensure new hires feel confident, connected, and capable from day one.

This role suits someone who's equal parts facilitator, operator, and partner, and who can hold a room on Tuesday and have the next cohort booked by Friday.

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate in-person orientation for every New York cohort, and support virtual sessions as needed.
  • Run cohort logistics, including travel, rooms, speakers, and the ID verification and tech setup block with IT and InfoSec.
  • Build and maintain orientation content, new hire comms, and resources, and update them based on survey feedback.
  • Set cohort schedules and cutoffs with Talent Acquisition, and hold the line on fixed start dates.
  • Prep hiring managers for Week 1 meet-and-greets, and advise business teams on functional onboarding.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in L&D, onboarding, or talent development, including running a new hire or onboarding program
  • Strong live facilitation: you can lead a full day with a room of new hires and keep it moving
  • Strong logistics and project management skills, with experience partnering across TA, IT, HR operations, and hiring managers
  • Comfort designing and maintaining content and facilitator guides across live and virtual formats
  • Experience with an LMS and AI tools to speed up creation and delivery
  • Able to work onsite in our New York office 3-4 days a week.
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment where priorities shift and decisions happen quickly

Nice to Have

  • Experience consulting with business teams on functional or role-based onboarding
  • Experience running onboarding for global or multi-site teams
  • Knowledge of sports betting, gaming, or high-growth tech

Depending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE—a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires. These sessions are designed to build connection and bring our culture to life, though specific travel and participation requirements will be confirmed based on your role and location. Your recruiter will provide clear guidance at each stage of the process.
