This role requires a minimum of four days per week onsite at our Boston location. This includes in-office working days Monday through Thursday. Please note this may vary subject to business needs.

Mission Summary:

This is a high visibility role for an analytically-minded and highly organized individual to directly support the Chief of Staff (CoS) and the Office of the CEO in driving key strategic initiatives across the company. You will help align cross-functional teams, help resolve roadblocks, and ensure executives have the information they need to make decisions

The ideal candidate will blend technical fluency with proven project management or strategy experience to effectively coordinate complex, cross-functional efforts and manage critical communication workflows. They will be comfortable working on ambiguous, fast-moving, and challenging special projects.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Strategic Project Coordination & Execution (~60%)

  • Project Coordination Management: Coordinate, track, and communicate progress on high-priority strategic projects that span multiple internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Finance, People, Legal) and organizational levels. Partner closely with functional owners to create milestones, understand dependencies, and clarify the path forward.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the CoS with departmental leads, proactively ensuring alignment, surfacing and unblocking roadblocks, and maintaining momentum on key initiatives.
  • Meeting Management: Prepare agendas, presentations, and follow-up documentation for internal strategy reviews and project steering committee meetings with minimal guidance.

2. Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management (~30%)

  • Shareholder Communication Support: Gather, review, and synthesize inputs from across the company for high-stakes communications directed to shareholders, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors. Draft and edit materials as needed.
  • Information Synthesis: Digest complex technical, financial, and operational information into clear, concise, and strategic summaries that drive executive understanding and decision-making.
  • Executive Briefing: Prepare the CoS and CEO for critical meetings by delivering timely and relevant research, talking points, and data-driven insights.

3. Operational Support (~10%)

  • Prioritization Support: Partner with the CoS to manage and prioritize their calendar, coordinate, coordinate key meetings and align time and resources with the company's highest priorities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in organizational processes and reporting structures to streamline the office of the CEO operations.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct rapid, targeted research and analysis on emerging business opportunities or threats to inform strategic planning.

What we’re looking for:

Required:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a fast-moving environment, ideally within a strategy consulting firm, internal corporate strategy team, Business Operations, Program Management Office (PMO), or an operational role with a strategic focus.
  • High Autonomy & Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fluid environment. Comfortable operating with limited information, making sound judgement calls, and executing independently with minimal supervision.
  • Project Coordination Acumen: Proven ability to manage complex projects, shepherd multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, and keep teams aligned from project inception to completion.
  • Technical Fluency: Demonstrated understanding of technical concepts, engineering workflows, or data analysis (e.g., a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field).
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to think analytically, structure complex arguments, clearly communicate (written and verbal) and to develop persuasive narratives for executive and external audiences.

Bonus points (not required)

  • Industry Experience: Experience working in a fast paced technology sector.
  • Financial Literacy: Basic understanding of financial statements and corporate governance to effectively support shareholder communications.
