About this job
Senior Account Manager, Customer Growth & Platform Transition
About interface.ai
Interface AI is redefining how financial institutions serve their members through agentic AI and conversational AI, and we're doing it in production, at scale, with real outcomes. $30M in Series A funding. Cash-flow positive. A mission that matters: democratizing financial wellness for every American, not just the ones who can afford a private banker.
About the role
interface.ai builds agentic AI for credit unions and community banks, live in production at scale. We're moving our installed base onto our newest platform. This role sits between Customer Success and Sales. You'll own the commercial side of that transition: renewing, re-contracting and re-pricing customers onto the new platform. You'll then grow those accounts as they see value.
In your first months, most of your time goes to migration-driven renewals and re-contracting. Over time, the mix shifts toward expansion: new modules, new departments, larger commitments. You'll work alongside the Customer Success Manager, who owns delivery and customer outcomes, with Solutions Engineering, Product and Security behind you.
Key responsibilities
Lead the commercial side of customer transitions to the new platform: renewal timing, re-contracting, and moving customers onto new pricing models.
Explain new pricing and packaging clearly to executives, tie it to their outcomes, and negotiate with discipline within the discount approval process.
Build and quantify the ROI case from existing deployments (call deflection, hours saved, member satisfaction, cost per interaction) to support renewal and expansion.
Use every renewal to expand: new modules, departments, use cases and larger commitments.
Learn each customer's strategic plan, efficiency ratio and tech stack (core, digital banking, contact center), and watch business triggers (mergers, branch consolidations, call volume spikes, new product launches) to time the right offer.
Partner with the CSM on account health. Grow healthy accounts and stabilize troubled ones before pitching anything new.
Multi-thread across the C-suite (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO/CTO) and department leaders in Member Experience, Lending and Collections, so no account depends on one champion.
Navigate committee and board approvals, aligned to each institution's budget cycle.
Guide customers through vendor due diligence and third-party risk reviews with Security and Compliance.
Qualify, prioritize and forecast renewal and expansion opportunities using MEDDPICC.
Turn satisfied customers into references, case studies and conference co-presenters, and share customer feedback with Product.
How the role evolves
First ~6 months: migration, renewals, re-contracting, and the expansion that comes with them.
After that: a growing share of expansion and upsell as customers go live on the new platform.
Qualifications
5+ years in account management, customer success or full-cycle sales in B2B SaaS.
Comfortable talking money with customers: pricing, packaging, renewals and multi-year negotiation. You've done it and enjoy it.
A track record of retaining and growing a book of business, with renewal and expansion results you can speak to.
Background as a commercially minded CSM, or an AE who prefers building long-term customer relationships to hunting new logos.
Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts and multiple opportunities at once.
Experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or a similar qualification methodology.
Plus: experience with consensus-driven buying (committees, boards, procurement), AI or CX platforms, or credit union and community bank accounts.
Fluent with generative AI tools in your daily workflow.

🚀 A mission-driven team shaping the future of banking
Why interface.ai
Series A · $30M raised · Cash-flow positive — we're not burning cash hoping the product works. It works. Customers are live, revenue is real, and the mission is one you can explain to your family without a slide deck. You'll work directly with Bruce Kim (CTO / Co-Founder), who sets the technical bar and goes deep on the hardest problems, and Srinivas Njay (CEO), who is hands-on daily across product and engineering. Founding-team-tier equity, top-of-market base, comprehensive benefits, and a modern San Francisco office worth showing up to. The team is small enough that your judgment shapes everything, and the market is large enough that what you build will matter for a long time.
