About this job

The Sr. Business Operations Lead will own the content creation and curation as well as the data analysis for all WWPS executive facing cadences, including the Weekly Business Review with Matt Garman, or the bi-weekly business review with Andy Jassy. A core responsibility for this role will be to effectively tell the story of WWPS performance. This will occur through weekly business performance documents published to the PS LT as well as through deep data analysis where potential risks, opportunities or red areas that require attention are surfaced. The VP of WWPS will be the key stakeholder for this role, providing the role with and very broad-based view over WWPS wide business performance. This role will have the ability to influence action items, new mechanisms and cadences as well as insights driven decision making. Beyond these well established cadences, this role will take the lead on ensuring the PS business narrative is told consistently in all forums, driving messaging consistency and narrative uniformity, regardless of cadence or audience.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the weekly WBR document creation, including the initial data analysis, the document drafting, internal preparation meetings as well as final preparation meetings with the VP of WWPS
  • Lead the bi-weekly narrative creation for the B-WBR with the CEO of Amazon, in collaboration with WWPS and Central Finance
  • Establish close cross-departmental relationships to ensure WWPS is well represented and has early visibility into key action items
  • Drive messaging consistency and uniformity for WWPS business narratives, across all cadences and audiences
  • Closely collaborate with FSO leaders, SSBO leaders, central and WWPS finance, goal owners, Public Sector leaders and Head of PS Front Office to ensure executive cadence asks are managed seamlessly and executed timely and with the highest quality standards
