About this job
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Leading the charge in defense innovation, Anduril's Connected Warfare division showcases our most cutting-edge technologies and most ambitious products. We are dedicated to creating a connected battlefield, leveraging AI, autonomous systems, and advanced networking to provide warfighters with the intelligence and agility needed to win in any environment.
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Connected Warfare Finance team. You will work directly with growth, engineering, and operations teams to maximize business value and accelerate growth.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support and partner with the Connected Warfare Division. You will own product and program financial management, income statement and balance sheet forecasting, and top-tier financial reporting to leadership.
This is a true business partnering role, not a reporting seat. You will support multiple products and programs in parallel and work shoulder-to-shoulder with program management, engineering, and business line leadership to ensure Anduril delivers on its financial commitments. Your business partners will call you before a decision, not after — because you not only know the numbers, but understand the business behind the numbers. You should be comfortable presenting financial performance and driving variance analysis at the contract and product level with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
This is a critical role in a high-growth division that is constantly changing. We are hiring for the long term and expect this seat to be a launching point into broader finance leadership at Anduril.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Synthesize and present internal management reporting via presentations and written communications, providing clear narratives on performance against plan
- Own rolling financial forecasts, built by pressure-testing assumptions with key business stakeholders (Growth Leads, Product Managers, Program Managers, Engineering Leads)
- Own the financial cadence with program management through monthly variance analysis to maintain EAC integrity and develop ETC forecasts
- Partner with growth and operations on pricing and proposal activities for new business
- Design, build, and automate reports and dashboards to improve financial visibility across the division
- Support long-range planning, ad hoc financial modeling, and special projects
WHO YOU ARE
- Exceptionally detail-oriented. You catch the number that doesn't tie before it reaches a leadership deck, and you hold that bar on your own work without being asked.
- Strong judgment. You know which variances need escalation and which are noise, and you can tell the difference between a number that is wrong and a business that is changing.
- Personable and trusted. You build real relationships with engineers, program managers, and growth leads who don't speak finance, and they come to you because you make their decisions easier.
- Intellectually rigorous and curious. You want to understand why a program behaves the way it does, not just report that it did.
- Comfortable with ambiguity. You move fast on incomplete information, flag what you don't know, and go find it.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable narratives for non-finance stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
- Proven ability to build relationships in a dynamic, team-based environment
- Must be a US citizen and eligible to apply for and maintain a US security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct operating experience, ideally in a high-growth environment. Candidates combining investment banking, private equity, and operating experience (FP&A, Strategic Finance, Biz Ops, Corp Dev, etc.) are particularly compelling.
- Prior exposure to technology or defense businesses selling to the DoD or public sector
- Demonstrated ability to build processes and reporting frameworks, not just maintain existing ones
- Experience partnering with engineering or product leadership on cost, margin, or investment decisions
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP, Oracle EPM, and Salesforce CRM
