What you’ll be part of:

Circle is committed to visibility and stability in everything we do. As we grow as an organization, we're expanding into some of the world's strongest jurisdictions. Speed and efficiency are motivators for our success and our employees live by our company values: High Integrity, Future Forward, Multistakeholder, Mindful, and Driven by Excellence. We have built a flexible work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder.

What you'll be responsible for:

The Senior IT Systems Administrator is a key, hands-on role based onsite at Circle's New York City office, Monday through Friday, full-time. You will maintain and improve our Mac environment, office network (Cisco Meraki), and audio-visual systems, and provide white-glove support to executives and employees in the office, remote support for our remote-first workforce, and live support for meetings and onsite events. The pace is fast, with frequent walk-ups and interruptions, and you will work as part of a 24x7 global IT team.

We're looking for an energetic, pragmatic people-person who is collaborative and hands-on, comfortable working at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, and customer support, and eager to help modernize how IT runs.

What you'll work on:

  • Provide white-glove support for software, hardware, and network issues to on-site executives, employees, traveling teams, and visiting customers. Diagnose problems, guide the fix, and keep the office running.
  • Provide remote support to employees working outside the office in a remote-first company.
  • Log, assign, track, and verify incidents and service requests through resolution in the ticketing system, including computers, printers, and requests from internal application teams.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain MacBooks and peripherals, and manage them through Iru (MDM).
  • Maintain the office network, including Cisco Meraki equipment, firewalls, managed switches, VLANs, and routers.
  • Support audio-visual systems across the office: conference rooms (Zoom, Google Meet), presentation boards, and displays.
  • Operate and troubleshoot live audio, camera, and display equipment during large presentations and events, including occasional evening events.
  • Manage and troubleshoot office security systems, including facial recognition, security cameras, and card readers.
  • Support IT business continuity and disaster recovery for the office: planning, documentation, testing, and recovery readiness. Participate in semiannual disaster recovery tests; verify replication, redundancy, backups, and archiving; identify gaps; and restore servers, networks, and applications.
  • Partner with the cybersecurity team to enforce security policies, manage network access, monitor for suspicious activity and vulnerabilities, and help respond to and remediate incidents.
  • Use AI tools to speed up troubleshooting, debugging, and routine work.
  • Keep runbooks current, including escalation paths.

What you'll bring to Circle:

  • Ability to work onsite at the New York City office, Monday through Friday, full-time, with occasional after-hours support for events.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and administering macOS systems, MacBooks, and related peripherals, including MDM (Iru, Workspace ONE), core enterprise SaaS and IT systems (Google Workspace, Slack, Okta), and network troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing support role, including white-glove technical support for executives or senior staff.
  • Experience working tickets in ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
  • Hands-on networking experience with Cisco Meraki, firewalls, managed switches, VLANs, and routers.
  • Experience with conference room systems and A/V installations, including Zoom Rooms or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting business continuity and disaster recovery, including plan testing, backup and recovery, and restoring systems after a disruption.
  • Experience working with a security team on access control, monitoring, vulnerability management, firewalls, and incident response.
  • Experience using AI tools to streamline work, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Experience administering Linux and Windows Server is a plus.
  • Ability to code in Golang, Python, or shell is a plus.
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible is a plus.
  • Experience running live audio-video for large events is a plus.
