About this job

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager Tech – Business Process Architecture to serve as the single-threaded owner of Amazon Leo's enterprise process architecture. Acting as a strategic orchestrator, you will define how Leo's manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operational processes move from their current "as-is" state to a deliberately designed, governed, and measurable "to-be" state. You will own the enterprise process methodology toolbox and apply the right method to each problem rather than forcing a single framework, using process mining, simulation, and data-driven discovery to replace opinion with objective insight.

This role spans the full enterprise process-architecture competency set. On the transformational side, you will build the business case and vision, communicate it, and lead the organizational change required to make process transformation stick. On the operational side, you will discover formal and informal processes, model and analyze them, design improved target states, and establish the governance model, process policies, and performance management that link process inputs and outputs to business outcomes. On the technical side, you will translate target processes into solution architecture, applying agile and model-driven delivery and designing for usability — realizing business goals through a clear understanding of the business, information, and technical architectures.

You will be the connective tissue across Leo's enterprise application landscape, with a deep focus on ERP (SAP S/4HANA) and PLM (Teamcenter) and their integration with the broader estate — MES, supply chain planning, and quality systems. You will define integration and data-flow patterns, protect master-data integrity across the digital thread, and ensure that process designs are feasible, adoptable, and durable before resources are committed.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build the business case and vision for process transformation, articulating alignment with business strategy and demonstrating value through operations and process metrics for ROI and system investment.
  • Author OP1/OP2 narratives.
  • Apply project management principles to drive transformation, balancing constraints against desired outcomes.
  • Communicate transformation goals, benefits, and successes to gain stakeholder support, and apply change management to overcome resistance to process change.
  • Lead business process discovery to identify formal and informal processes and understand the "as-is" state.
  • Model, analyze, and design processes — visually depicting them to assess impact and design improved "to-be" states.
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, IT, and engineering leadership to elicit requirements, build consensus, and resolve competing priorities.
  • Own process performance management, linking process inputs and outputs to business performance to identify improvement areas.
  • Deliver solution architecture and design across ERP (SAP S/4HANA), PLM (Teamcenter), and the broader enterprise estate — realizing business goals through business, information, and technical architectures.
  • Use agile and model-driven development to rapidly deliver process improvements.
  • Apply process optimization and simulation to test the impact of changes before implementation.
  • Analyze user interactions with processes to improve usability.
