About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to serve as the strategic anchor certain products within the Sales Cloud portfolio. You’ll be the bridge between Product, customers, and the market—bringing deep product and customer understanding to shape positioning, messaging, product narratives, and the path to value from roadmap through adoption.

You’ll own the product story and serve as a trusted source of truth for the organization, ensuring customers, sellers, analysts, and partners understand the value and differentiation of our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Own Product Positioning & Messaging
Define differentiated positioning, messaging, value propositions, and technical narratives that clearly articulate what our products do, who they’re for, why they matter, and why Salesforce wins. Bring competitive and customer intelligence into how we tell the story.

Partner Deeply with Product
Own the relationship with Product and become a deep expert on the roadmap, technology, and customer use cases. Translate complex product capabilities and roadmaps into compelling market narratives and influence product and portfolio strategy.

Shape the Portfolio Story & Market Presence
Orchestrate the product story across releases, web, content, social, events, demos, videos, and customer stories. Partner with Communications and Analyst Relations to strengthen Salesforce’s category leadership and serve as a technical voice with industry analysts.

Drive Adoption & Path to Value
Define how customers realize value after purchase—from setup and technical guidance to best practices, tutorials, and maturity. Develop adoption content and enablement that helps customers, partners, CSG, and field teams get more value from the product.

Lead Cross-Functional Alignment
Bring Product, Sales, Marketing, Creative, Communications, AR/PR, Customer Success, and partners together around a clear product story and strategy. Build the source of truth that other teams rely on to tell the story consistently and credibly.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, strategy, or a related field
  • Deep experience developing positioning, messaging, product narratives, and competitive strategy for complex products
  • Strong product and technical aptitude, with the ability to understand roadmaps, technology, and customer use cases and translate them into business value
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, buying dynamics, and competitive markets
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills across executive, technical, and customer audiences
  • Experience developing product demos, videos, web content, events, and customer-facing content
  • Experience working with Analyst Relations, Communications, Customer Success, partners, or field teams
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity and move from strategy to execution

What Success Looks Like

  • You Sales Cloud products have a clear, differentiated, and market-leading product story
  • Product and Marketing teams rely on your messaging as the source of truth
  • Customers understand how to adopt the product and realize value
  • Salesforce is recognized as a leader in the category
  • Product adoption and maturity increase as customers move from purchase to value
