Position Summary

The Titan Field Service Engineer Manager - Integration & Training Specialist is a senior hybrid role that expands beyond traditional field support into engineering coordination, system integration, documentation ownership, and training development. This position serves as the technical bridge between engineering, field operations, and customer mission execution, ensuring Titan_MS systems remain fully mission_ready while shaping how the system is sustained, integrated, and taught.

This role is designed for an experienced FSE who wants deeper technical ownership, greater influence over engineering workflows, and a leadership position within the Titan field services team. The Lead FSE will drive integration activities, refine technical procedures, support ITAR compliance, and develop training that directly impacts operator effectiveness and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering_Aligned Field Support & System Ownership

· Lead installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of Titan_MS RF/C_UAS systems.

· Independently diagnose complex hardware, software, networking, and RF issues using advanced test equipment.

· Conduct system validation, acceptance testing, and readiness checks in coordination with engineering.

· Provide engineering_level feedback on system performance, failure modes, and sustainment needs.

· Support domestic and international deployments, including austere environments, as the senior technical representative.

System Integration & Engineering Collaboration

· Lead integration efforts with customer systems, third_party equipment, and evolving Titan_MS software baselines.

· Manage software updates, patches, configuration control, and version tracking with engineering oversight.

· Participate in engineering design reviews, integration testing, and sustainment planning.

· Identify systemic issues, propose engineering solutions, and drive corrective actions across teams.

· Serve as the field engineering liaison, ensuring deployed realities inform engineering decisions.

Technical Documentation, ITAR, & Configuration Management

· Own and maintain all technical documentation: service reports, maintenance logs, configuration records, integration procedures.

· Develop and refine engineering_aligned FSE work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and assembly/disassembly procedures.

· Support ITAR compliance activities including classification lists, EOL kit documentation, and restricted component tracking.

· Ensure documentation meets engineering, safety, security, and export_control requirements.

Training Development, Standardization & Delivery

· Design, update, and deliver operator and maintainer training for domestic and international customers.

· Consolidate AV, Teledyne, and engineering materials into unified, technically accurate curriculum.

· Lead technical briefings, hands_on instruction, and scenario_based training across varied skill levels.

· Maintain and update the Titan FSE Support Plan, training artifacts, and ITAR_restricted component lists.

· Ensure training reflects engineering intent, system updates, and evolving mission requirements.

Leadership, Customer Engagement & Mission Support

· Serve as the senior technical advisor to operators, maintainers, and leadership.

· Manage junior FSEs and support their technical development, professional development and training.

· Communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

· Build strong customer relationships and represent AV with professionalism and technical credibility.

· Capture customer feedback and translate it into actionable engineering inputs.

Required Qualifications

· Degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT, or equivalent experience.

· Experience supporting complex electronic or RF_based systems in field or operational environments.

· Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and RF domains.

· Working knowledge of IP networking, communications protocols, and system integration principles.

· Experience with configuration management, software version control, and system updates.

· Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, and engineering documentation.

· Ability to travel extensively (domestic/international).

· Ability to obtain/maintain required security clearances.

· Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and engineering professionalism.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

· Advanced technical training or degree.

· Experience with RF systems, EW, radar, or C_UAS technologies.

· Familiarity with Linux, embedded systems, or scripting/automation tools.

· Experience with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.

· Prior defense/aerospace operational support experience.

· International customer support experience.

· Networking/electronics certifications (e.g., CCNA).

· Experience delivering technical training and curriculum development.

· Understanding of system lifecycle support, sustainment, and logistics.
