This role is a strategic sales position focused on driving technology adoption and business transformation across US Federal Revenue sector. This role requires a deep understanding of how technology enables public sector organizations to achieve their missions and overcome operational challenges. It involves strategic planning and tactical execution of business opportunities within named or large key accounts of strategic importance to F5.

You will manage all facets of the relationship with the SSA, BFS, IRS and USPS, maintaining contact at relevant levels, and focus on the strategic nature of the relationship. You will build and manage relationships effectively, communicate across all levels, and develop opportunities across the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform. This includes partnering with Systems Integrators and VARs as needed.

You will lead the charge in helping your accounts navigate the complexities of AI-driven security, hybrid application delivery, and Zero Trust architectures, ensuring their critical infrastructure is prepared for the post-quantum era. This is a quota-carrying, individual contributor role.

  • Strategic Mission Leadership: Serve as the primary executive point-of-contact and strategic architect for the US Civilian Revenue Sector, orchestrating high-level relationships to ensure long-term mission success and partnership continuity.

Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and facilitating long-term mission success through F5’s innovative tech stack.
  • Full-Lifecycle Growth Management: Lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle—from researching and qualifying new leads within named accounts to delivering executive-level presentations to defending against competitors and organizational delays, while negotiating complex deals to closure.
  • Mission-Aligned Solution Architecture: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and government regulations to align F5’s application security and AI-ready solutions with the specific operational challenges and digital transformation goals of the Federal Healthcare sector.
  • Internal Orchestration & Pipeline Rigor: Assume a leadership role in coordinating internal sales support, systems engineering, and management teams to ensure accurate sales forecasting and the effective utilization of sales tools and account profiles.
  • Collaborative Ecosystem & Corporate Citizenship: Cultivate a high-performance, inclusive culture by partnering seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams, external Systems Integrators and/or Reseller Partners while championing corporate best practices and ethical leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and required
