Position Summary

The National Director, Electrophysiology & Structural Heart (EP/SH) provides strategic and commercial leadership for the Siemens Healthineers Procedural Ultrasound including intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), ultrasound systems and related cardiovascular imaging solutions across the United States.

The Director leads four Zone Directors and a team of 4–6 Clinical Applications Specialists and is responsible for translating national strategy into consistent execution across markets. The role works closely with Boston Scientific (BSC), which will primarily lead 4D ICE catheter sales and commercial execution, to align priorities, identify and activate target sites, accelerate adoption and deliver a coordinated customer experience.

The Director is accountable for building an effective SHS–BSC partnership while ensuring Zone Directors maintain strong KOL, physician and customer relationships and identify clinical and market opportunities. The Clinical Applications team will work closely with BSC and customers to support product demonstrations and evaluations, clinical education and training, and successful adoption of 4D ICE.

The long-term objective is to establish 4D ICE as a new standard of care for WATCHMAN left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) and Structural Heart procedures, evolving clinical practice beyond its current reliance on transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) guidance to advance patient care, improve clinical outcomes, enhance procedural efficiency and deliver greater economic value for healthcare systems.

The Director will also lead market development for 4D ICE across mitral, tricuspid and other transcatheter valve procedures, working with physicians, KOLs, device companies and Siemens Healthineers teams to expand the role of advanced intracardiac imaging in Structural Heart.

·       Ensure effective demos, evaluations, training and clinical support through the Clinical Applications team to enable successful adoption and utilization.

·       Monitor adoption, utilization, customer and market trends to identify opportunities, remove barriers and inform commercial, marketing and product strategy.
