The Director, NDD Business Development: Health Systems will support the growth of Siemens Healthineers' Neurodegenerative Disease (NDD) business in the United States, with primary responsibility for developing opportunities within health systems, academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks and other priority institutional accounts.

This is a national, individual-contributor business development role focused on creating and advancing opportunities across the NDD care pathway. The role will work across Siemens Healthineers businesses and, where appropriate, selected external partners to connect customer needs with existing capabilities and emerging solutions.

The Health Systems Director will collaborate closely with the Director, NDD Business Development: Neurology Clinics and with existing commercial teams.

Key responsibilities include:

·   Develop and execute account-based market development plans for priority health systems, academic medical centers and integrated delivery networks.

·   Leverage existing Siemens Healthineers relationships and expand engagement beyond traditional imaging stakeholders, bringing together relevant clinical, operational, commercial and executive stakeholders to identify unmet needs, align priorities and develop NDD pathway opportunities.

·   Assess customer clinical, operational and economic needs across the NDD care pathway and translate those needs into qualified business opportunities.

·   Develop integrated solution approaches by connecting customer needs with relevant Siemens Healthineers capabilities and selected partner solutions, including emerging capabilities where appropriate.

·   Develop and qualify opportunities, build the customer and business case, and partner with account executives, product sales executives and other commercial teams for execution and close.

·   Engage relevant Siemens Healthineers teams when customer needs warrant broader transformation, workflow redesign, consulting or strategic partnership models.

·   Build relationships with clinical and executive thought leaders; maintain disciplined pipeline visibility; and capture customer, competitor and market insights to inform NDD strategy and commercialization priorities.

·   Collaborate with the Neurology Clinics Director on opportunities that span health systems, community neurology, referral networks or other connected care settings.

Your expertise

·   8+ years of experience in healthcare, medical technology, diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare consulting, strategic accounts, sales, business development, market development or commercial strategy.

·   Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, science, engineering, healthcare or a related discipline preferred.

·   Demonstrated success developing complex healthcare opportunities involving multiple clinical, operational, commercial and executive stakeholders.

·   Demonstrated experience developing business or strategic opportunities within U.S. health systems, academic medical centers or large integrated delivery networks required.

·   Experience in neurology, Alzheimer's disease, neuroscience, medical imaging, molecular imaging, diagnostics or another relevant clinical area preferred; deep NDD expertise is not required if the candidate can rapidly build clinical pathway fluency.

·   Strong strategic and commercial acumen, including the ability to translate clinical and operational needs into compelling customer and business cases.

·   Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and work effectively across organizational boundaries in a matrixed environment.

·   Strong interpersonal, presentation and executive communication skills, with the organization and follow-through to manage multiple long-cycle opportunities simultaneously.

·   Willingness to travel regularly within the United States.
