About this job
About the Role
Join a small, early-stage team building AI-powered financial research tools, initially focused on healthcare. You will help develop the infrastructure and applications that turn diverse data sources into reliable, continuously updated industry insights for professional investors.
What You'll Do
Build and ship features across frontend applications, backend services, data pipelines, and real-time systems.
Create tools and pipelines that help analysts add data sources and maintain industry coverage efficiently.
Improve AI agent parsing and extraction systems, balancing model reasoning with deterministic software.
Own work end to end, including data inspection, quality assurance, instrumentation, deployment, and production support.
Develop a company data model and an initial earnings research product.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years, and approximately 7 years or less, of professional experience building and operating production systems.
Hands-on experience deploying agentic AI systems or LLM-based applications in production.
Full-stack engineering ability, including Python backend development with FastAPI or an equivalent framework, TypeScript, and React.
Experience with data pipelines, ETL, data modeling, SQL, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and real-time data systems.
Experience with AWS, production observability, monitoring, and debugging distributed systems.
Strong ownership, sound engineering judgment, and comfort working across unfamiliar systems on a fast-moving team.
US citizenship is required. Financial research, capital markets, investment banking, or broader financial services experience is a plus.
Experience with modern data tools, edge infrastructure, or AI/ML developer tools is also a plus.
