About this job
About Clarify
Clarify is building the AI-native CRM — a platform designed from the ground up for how modern go-to-market teams actually work. We raised $22.5M and assembled a team of ~27 people who believe the CRM category is overdue for a complete rethink: less manual data entry, smarter automation, and AI that actually understands your pipeline.
We're early and moving fast. The work you do here will directly shape how we grow.
About the Role
Clarify has shipped a lot in a short time: our AI Rep, permissions, reporting, and integrations with HubSpot, Stripe and Salesforce, with Signals launching in December. What we don't have yet is a product leader whose whole job is deciding what we build next, for whom, and making sure it lands. Today the founders do that alongside everything else.
You'll be Clarify's first Head of Product, reporting to our CEO. You'll set the product direction with our founders: who we build for, where we win and what we say no to. You'll own the roadmap, set the planning rhythm with engineering and design, and build a product team that great people want to join. At our stage this is a hands-on leadership role: you'll still talk to customers every week, write the specs that matter and prototype with AI yourself. You'll be accountable for whether what we ship gets used and moves retention and revenue.
What you'll do
Set product strategy and own the roadmap with our CEO and CTO, making the tradeoffs explicit
Build the product operating cadence with engineering squads and design: clear problems, tight scope, owners, dates and shipped outcomes
Own Tier 1 launches like Signals from scope to adoption, on the date we committed to
Own our core product metrics — weekly active usage and retention — and hold the roadmap accountable to them
Hire and lead the product team, starting with our first PMs, and partner closely with design
Stay hands-on: talk to customers every week and prototype ideas with AI before engineering commits time
Make the case for where product is going, in writing, to the team and to the board
Your background
You've led product at a B2B SaaS company at the Sr Director or VP level, running multiple PM teams, ideally as an early product leader through the Series A-C stage
You've hired, coached and led PMs, and people from your past teams would follow you to your next company
You've shipped 0-to-1 products customers rely on and can point to the metrics you moved
You've set a product direction and brought founders, engineering and go-to-market along with it
You're technical enough to go deep with engineers and direct AI-assisted prototyping; many great candidates started as engineers
You use AI natively in how you research, analyze and build
You know what process to add at our stage and what to skip, and you're still happy to do the work yourself
Bonus: You've built sales, CRM or GTM tools
Bonus: You've been a founder or a founding PM
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a base salary range of $225,000-$275,000 depending on level and location, benchmarked against market data for startups our size, plus competitive stock options with standard 4-year vesting and a 1-year cliff. We bring the full team together 2–3 times a year for offsites.
Our Seattle-based employees work from our Pioneer Square office three days a week. Outside of Seattle, we're a fully distributed team.
