About this job
About Clarify
Clarify is building the AI-native CRM — a platform designed from the ground up for how modern go-to-market teams actually work. We raised $22.5M and assembled a team of ~27 people who believe the CRM category is overdue for a complete rethink: less manual data entry, smarter automation, and AI that actually understands your pipeline.
We're early and moving fast. The work you do here will directly shape how we grow.
About the Role
Clarify ships a lot of product — integrations, our AI Rep, permissions, reporting, and Signals, launching in December. Each of those started with an engineer close to the customer working out what was worth building, then building it end-to-end.
As a Product Engineer, you'll own major product areas from idea through a polished, shipped experience. You'll shape problems with the founders, design, and customers; make the product calls alongside the technical ones; and ship full-stack across our React/Next.js frontend and Node.js backend. No PM handing you tickets, no waiting on another team.
This role sits at the intersection of product building and engineering: strong product instinct, design DNA, and customer judgment, paired with solid engineering fundamentals. You'll think through UX and edge cases, talk to customers, and set the bar for craft on the product side of engineering.
What you'll do
Own core product areas end-to-end, from problem framing to a polished, shipped experience
Ship full-stack every week across frontend, backend and data
Build AI-native workflows — agents, signals and automation — that feel fast and obvious to the people who live in a CRM all day
Partner daily with design and the founders to scope tightly and make tradeoffs explicit
Talk to customers and use what you hear, plus usage data, to decide what to build next
Raise the bar for craft through thoughtful UX, edge-case thinking, code review, mentoring and pragmatic standards
Use AI in your workflow to prototype, build and test faster
Your background
You've operated at a Staff level or above, leading product work that spans multiple engineers or quarters
You have strong product instincts and design DNA — you think through UX and edge cases as carefully as architecture
You're a clear thinker and communicator who can talk to customers and turn what you hear into product judgment
You bring a sense of urgency and ship high-craft product without waiting for perfect specs
Strong with TypeScript, React/Next.js and Node.js; comfortable with Postgres
You own what you ship in production, including on-call
You use AI tools natively and have opinions about where they help
Bonus: You've built sales, CRM or GTM tools
Bonus: You've shipped LLM-powered product features to production
Our stack: TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js; Postgres, Kafka, BullMQ.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a salary range of $160,000-$250,000 depending on level and location, benchmarked against market data for startups our size, plus competitive stock options with standard 4-year vesting and a 1-year cliff. Benefits include fully covered medical, dental, and vision for you (50% for dependents), a 401(k) with company match, flexible time off, and generous parental leave. We bring the full team together 2–3 times a year for offsites.
Our Seattle-based employees work from our Pioneer Square office three days a week. This role is based in Seattle; remote is considered only for exceptional referred candidates.
Clarify is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
