About this job

This is a full-time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered.

The lead digital experience designer is responsible for conceptualizing and designing visual marketing solutions from concept to finish. They lead design decision-making to uphold a consistent look and feel on att.com. This is a visual web design role focused on marketing and ecommerce—not a product design or print design role.

We’re looking for a senior visual web designer who knows how to turn marketing strategy into polished, high-performing digital experiences. You’ll lead the visual design of component-driven marketing and ecommerce experiences on att.com, combining exceptional graphic design craft with a strong understanding of responsive web design, merchandising and conversion.

You’ll work within an established design system to transform complex products, promotions and offers into compelling digital stories—from campaign landing pages and promotional modules to product and offer experiences. You should be equally comfortable establishing visual hierarchy in Figma, art directing imagery, compositing in Photoshop and partnering with implementation teams to make sure the final experience matches the creative vision.

This is a hands-on visual web design role focused on marketing and ecommerce—not a traditional product design, UX research or print design role.

What you’ll do

  • Lead concept and visual design for responsive marketing and ecommerce experiences on att.com, including landing pages, promotional experiences, product storytelling and campaign creative.
  • Design within and help evolve a component-based web design system, selecting and composing reusable modules to create clear marketing hierarchy, compelling storytelling and effective paths to purchase.
  • Bring exceptional visual craft to typography, layout, imagery, color and art direction; composite and retouch imagery to create polished campaign and merchandising assets.
  • Translate marketing briefs, products and complex offers into digital experiences that are on-brand, accessible, mobile-first and designed to drive customer action.
  • Partner closely with copywriters, marketers, strategists, producers and implementation teams from concept through launch, including design handoff and visual QA of live experiences.
  • Provide creative direction and mentorship to other designers while helping advance digital design standards, tools and best practices.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of professional web, digital marketing, ecommerce or digital agency design experience, with experience leading creative work.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual web design, including responsive marketing pages, ecommerce or merchandising experiences, component-based page design, typography, image compositing and art direction.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and Photoshop, including experience working with reusable components, libraries and established design systems.
  • Advanced visual-design skills across typography, composition, hierarchy, color and imagery, plus strong Photoshop compositing and retouching capabilities.
  • Experience designing responsive experiences and collaborating with developers or content implementation teams; working knowledge of HTML/CSS and browser inspection tools sufficient to perform visual QA.
  • Strong communication, presentation and creative-leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects.

Preferred

  • Experience designing for a large-scale ecommerce or consumer marketing website.
  • Experience with Adobe Firefly or other AI-assisted creative tools.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards for web experiences.
  • Experience with motion, After Effects, 3D or interactive prototyping.
  • Experience with Workfront or a similar creative workflow platform.
