You will guide the creative vision, storytelling, and visual elements across a portfolio that includes preschool, action, collector, adult, and family play. You will be supported by internal teams of copywriters, designers, art directors, and partner with product marketing teams and toy studios to develop groundbreaking campaign platforms and launch new products and characters.

This creative leadership role requires hands-on involvement, combining a strong understanding of how to inspire kids and kidults with visual and storytelling craftsmanship. It values a true appreciation of how toys are played with and a solid grasp of business aspects. The ideal candidate has directed creative campaigns for consumer, entertainment, or brand-based products. They shift easily from big-picture ideas to detailed actions, addressing retail needs, out of home, packaging placement, and global market variations. You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing Creative to ensure our brands keep innovating while staying true to what makes them endure.

Location and Work Arrangement

This role is based at our Boston, Massachusetts, United States office and follows a hybrid schedule designed to support in-person collaboration. Employees are expected to work onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite on Mondays and Fridays.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with brand and product marketing leads to translate strategy into emotionally resonant, data-driven creative.
  • Mentor and guide teams of internal creatives, helping them grow, complete work at a high level, and stay encouraged.
  • Set and uphold the creative standard across all work, whether it's a global brand film or a single social post.
  • Work with product development, development services, and licensing teams to uncover storytelling opportunities in each launch and maintain consistent brand expression from ad to package to shelf.
  • Guide and encourage external agency partners and vendors, ensuring alignment to each brand's tone, visual identity, and audience.
  • Balance the demands of a multi-brand portfolio, prioritizing effort, sequencing work, and knowing where a distinct brand voice matters versus where scale and system win.
  • Represent creative in key meetings, working closely with senior leadership across the business.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of creative experience in brand or campaign work for consumer products, toys, entertainment, or organizations centered around intellectual property.

  • Demonstrated ability to create visual storytelling and audience-first creative for long-standing consumer brands.
  • Outstanding concepting, campaign development, and narrative instincts.
  • Comfortable working across multiple brands and audience segments at once, from preschool to adult collector.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present ideas to senior customers and collaborators.
  • A portfolio that showcases variety, creativity, and a strong grasp of how to engage audiences through creatively inspiring work.
