What you will be doing
- Build relationships across the full media landscape: national, business, tech, defense trade, and creator media
- Proactively pitch and field inbound press inquiries, serving as first point of contact for media requests
- Analyze coverage and share of voice trends for leadership visibility
- Maintain our editorial and announcement calendar
- Run embargoed rollouts and negotiate media exclusives
- Draft and distribute press releases
- Produce media one-pagers, fact sheets, press kits, bios, and boilerplate as needed
- Partner with our content production team on media assets as part of integrated campaigns
You should have the following
- 5+ years in public relations or media relations, preferably in defense, aerospace, robotics, tech, or hardware industries
- Demonstrated experience pitching and coordinating embargoes and exclusives, not just supporting them
- Demonstrated experience shaping narrative and matching stories to the right publication and media personnel
- Demonstrated experience owning a media relations platform, including building dashboards and analysis across coverage and share of voice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
US Salary Range
$111,000 – $155,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
