- Build and run the integrated project plan (schedule, critical path, resources, dependencies), proactively managing risks/issues with countermeasures to protect on-time delivery.
- Establish project governance & stakeholder alignment (cadence, action tracking, decision logs, comms), including coordination of external vendors/partners as needed.
- Own performance reporting & continuous improvement (RAG, milestones, cost/capex forecasts, escalations), applying DBS/structured problem-solving and ensuring design control/compliant documentation.
The essential requirements of the job include
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in life science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus) along with a preference for 5+ years of experience in one of the following disciplines: product development, R&D, operations, and/or life science consumables environment (hands on exposure to experimental workflows/data-driven development).
- Project management experience: Prefer 3+ years in project management, including at least one product development program delivered to launch (or equivalent lifecycle release).
- Regulated / design control: Experience running stage‑gate/design control in a regulated development/manufacturing environment (e.g., ISO‑based QMS).
- Tools / methods: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) plus MS Project (or equivalent scheduling tool); demonstrated use of risk management methods to translate technical uncertainty into executable plans.
- On-site attendance will be required as business needs dictate (e.g., onboarding programs, key team meetings, program workshops, kaizen/training events, and milestone reviews).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- PMP certification (or equivalent formal PM training) and experience applying Lean / DBS tools (e.g., VPM and PSP).
- Demonstrated project delivery experience within life sciences/diagnostics and/or separations/chromatography consumables.
