  • Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret complex healthcare agreements.

  • Advise leaders on Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and other healthcare regulations affecting physician relationships.

  • Partner with executive leadership, physician leaders, Compliance, Human Resources, Finance, and operational teams to develop practical, legally compliant business solutions.

  • Lead legal support for strategic initiatives involving physician alignment, affiliations, and other enterprise priorities.

  • Coordinate legal matters involving outside counsel and oversee work performed by paralegals.

  • Mentor Assistant Corporate Counsel and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing legal team.

  • Manage a high volume of complex legal matters while delivering timely, practical legal counsel.

The Attorney We’re Looking For

The successful candidate is a collaborative healthcare attorney who serves as a trusted advisor and business partner. You will:

  • Have significant experience advising on physician arrangements, physician contracting, and healthcare regulatory matters.

  • Build credibility and strong relationships with physicians, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Communicate confidently during negotiations and challenging conversations.

  • Translate complex legal issues into practical, business-focused guidance.

  • Thrive in a collaborative environment while independently managing multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and exceptional client service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Licensed to practice law in Delaware or eligible to obtain a Delaware Certificate of Limited Practice for In-House Counsel.

  • Five or more years of substantive experience advising on physician arrangements, physician contracting, and healthcare regulatory matters, preferably representing hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, or healthcare clients.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations affecting physician relationships, including Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
