What you’ll do:

- Domain Knowledge (Payments): Proven track record working with payment processors, EMV kernels, ISO 8583 / point-of-sale protocols, or card-present payment architectures.
- Hardware/SDK Integration: Hands-on experience integrating external Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), MFi (Made for iPhone), or USB accessories/readers into iOS apps.
- Certification Standards: Experience navigating payment industry standards (PCI-DSS, PCI-PTS, EMVCo) and executing device certification cycles.
- Debugging & Architecture: Deep understanding of secure key management, cryptographic protocols (DUKPT, AES, RSA), multithreading, and low-level protocol debugging.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Prior experience with POS (Point of Sale) platforms or reader hardware (e.g., Clover, Square, Ingenico, Verifone).
- Experience writing or maintaining shared native C/C++ libraries wrapped for iOS.
