About this job
Why Socure?
Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.
We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.
Job Overview
As the Senior Manager of Facilities at Socure, you will play a key role in building and managing the workplace operations that support our growing organization. You will oversee the San Francisco office buildout, lead its day-to-day operations, and support our satellite offices, partnering closely with People, IT, Security, and Procurement to create welcoming, well-run spaces that enable collaboration and productivity.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building teams, establishing operational standards, and bringing structure to an evolving workplace footprint. You will have the opportunity to build a facilities function and team, strengthen how we manage our spaces and vendors, and partner with the People team to bring employee programming to life, ensuring our workplaces scale alongside the business.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the San Francisco office buildout and opening, coordinating space planning, vendors, dependencies, readiness checks, and escalation of budget or timeline risks.
Oversee day-to-day San Francisco office operations, including building services, maintenance, supplies, food and beverage, mail, visitors, and employee requests.
Maintain functional, welcoming workspaces and coordinate booking tools, accessibility needs, emergency readiness, and incident response with the appropriate teams.
Manage WeWork satellite office operations, including memberships, booking support, shared credits, local service issues, and employee guidance.
Oversee keycard and membership provisioning, reassignment, and deprovisioning in partnership with People, HRIS, IT, Security, and building teams under approved access policies.
Monitor utilization and capacity needs, maintain accurate records, and support office expansions, renewals, moves, and space transitions as hiring grows.
Partner with People and office champions to deliver facilities support for onboarding, anchor days, programming, and team gatherings, including space readiness and event logistics.
Establish scalable facilities playbooks, service standards, request workflows, and automation to improve consistency and reduce manual work.
Define the staffing and vendor model, build the case for resources, and hire and develop the facilities team as plans are approved.
Develop budgets and forecasts with Finance, track spend and vendor performance, and partner with Procurement on purchasing and invoice resolution.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in facilities management, workplace operations, or a related field.
7+ years of relevant experience in facilities or workplace operations, including managing office buildouts, moves, and multi-site operations.
Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing vendors, and establishing scalable processes and service standards.
Strong project management and budgeting skills, with the ability to coordinate timelines, costs, and cross-functional dependencies.
Experience managing office access, building services, maintenance, and workplace safety in partnership with relevant teams.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a service-oriented approach to supporting employees and stakeholders.
Proficiency with business and workplace management tools, project management software, and AI-augmented operations and reporting.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset, with an interest in using technology and automation to improve workplace operations.
Ability to work on-site in San Francisco and travel to other office locations as needed.
