While this role does include hands-on design for high impact projects, its primary focus is leadership, resourcing, team development, and creative oversight.

As a leader at Dandy, you will operate with high autonomy, influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders, and shape how our brand shows up across campaigns, events, product marketing, performance channels, and beyond. • Lead, manage, and develop a team of designers, elevating craft, conceptual thinking, and execution across the team.

  • Establish and evolve scalable design systems, campaign frameworks, and governance processes that ensure consistency and efficiency across global markets.

  • Oversee creative execution across all marketing channels and high impact initiatives to ensure best-in-class output.

  • Own design team resourcing and capacity planning, balancing internal workloads while strategically leveraging agencies, freelancers, and contractors as needed.

  • Partner cross-functionally across GTM teams to translate business objectives into high-impact creative.

  • Lead structured design reviews and provide clear, actionable feedback that strengthens both the work and the team.

  • Stay at the forefront of emerging design tools and technologies — including AI-powered creative workflows — identifying opportunities to improve speed, quality, scalability, and innovation across the team.

  • Drive continuous elevation of Dandy’s visual identity through innovation, trend awareness, and a deep commitment to design excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in visual design, including significant experience at the Art Director or Senior Manager level design roles.

  • Proven experience leading and developing multiple designers (more than two direct reports), with a track record of raising the creative bar across a team.

  • A standout portfolio demonstrating integrated, multi-channel campaigns, strong art direction, and experience building scalable brand systems.

  • Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma, with fluency across digital, print, performance, events, and campaign design.

  • Experience working in an agency or managing multiple brands, with a strong understanding of how to scale creative across diverse touchpoints.

  • Demonstrated ownership of design resourcing and capacity planning, including managing agencies, freelancers, and external partners.
