About this job

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Snowflake Marketplace is the trusted enterprise channel for governed data sharing at scale. This role advances that mission into the next paradigm shift: transforming data-sharing infrastructure into an AI-first intelligence marketplace for autonomous agents, semantic models, remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and AI-ready data primitives.

As a Senior Product Manager for the Marketplace, you will own the strategy and execution for making Snowflake the definitive destination where third-party AI agents are built, governed, distributed, and monetized. You will act as a general manager operating at the intersection of platform engineering, developer ecosystems, and commercial strategy—connecting partner innovation directly to enterprise customer adoption.

AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Define the Strategic Vision: Set and socialize the product strategy for Snowflake’s AI-first marketplace, aligning product leadership, developer relations, partner engineering, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams behind key primitive releases (including AI agents, semantic layers, and remote MCP integrations, etc.) – and be the trusted subject matter expert to educate and inspire our customers' adoption of these technologies .

  • Ship Category-Defining Primitives: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for third party agents, MCPs, Semantic Views and future AI Products.

  • Design Commercial Mechanics: Drive monetization design as a core product surface, including pricing and packaging, usage- and outcome-based billing and partner revenue-share structures.

  • Operate AI-Natively: Prototype listing workflows, build partner integrations, and utilize advanced telemetry and generative tools to inform roadmap prioritization and evaluate third-party agent performance hands-on.

  • Deliver Measurable Impact: Own overall business metrics, driving partner supply growth, enterprise buyer adoption of AI-first listings, and platform consumption pulled through agentic workflows.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • Product Experience: 6+ years in product management, with a track record of bringing AI, developer platform, or infrastructure products from 0-to-1 and scaling them to commercial adoption.

  • Ecosystem Building: Proven background in building two-sided markets—such as developer platforms, API marketplaces, enterprise app stores, or partner ecosystems—where you successfully curated supply and drove buyer demand.

  • Commercial Architecture Mastery: Direct experience designing productized commercial mechanics, including meter-based consumption, usage/outcome pricing, committed-spend drawdowns, and multi-sided revenue distribution.

  • Technical Depth in AI Architecture: Hands-on familiarity with modern AI agent stacks (MCP, agent-to-agent protocols, tool calling, semantic layers, and non-human identity/delegation mechanisms) to engage credibly with enterprise architects and developer teams.

  • First-Principles Problem Solving: Ability to navigate extreme ambiguity, define new product categories, and execute hypothesis-driven roadmaps without relying on existing templates.

  • Relevant Industry Background: Experience in cloud marketplaces, AI platform ecosystems, developer tools, or enterprise SaaS ecosystems (e.g., major cloud platforms, AI-native infrastructure vendors, or developer infrastructure companies).

Why Join Our Team at Snowflake?

This position offers true general-manager scope on a category at the absolute frontier of enterprise software—defining how third-party AI agents are commercialized and deployed at enterprise scale. You will work directly alongside cross-functional engineering and product leaders across core platform capabilities, governance, identity, and business development. As the voice of Snowflake’s agent ecosystem, you will lead high-visibility bets, shape the commercial model for the agentic enterprise, and build a career path toward executive product leadership.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
