About this job
The Amazon Leo team is on a mission to create a connected world that will usher in a new era of global productivity and prosperity. Through a constellation of satellites in low earth orbit, we’re going to bring fast Internet to every individual, household, school, and business to empower everyone to collaborate, work, play, invent, and learn from any location, at any time, on any device.
Amazon Leo’s Americas B2B marketing team is looking for an exceptionally talented individual to design and implement enterprise B2B marketing strategies to generate demand using modern marketing techniques, and to develop account based marketing (ABM) strategies to target high-value accounts, working in close partnership with the Americas sales team to build personalized campaigns aligned with account objectives. This includes developing targeted content and programs that resonate with enterprise decision-makers, tracking and optimizing campaign performance using data and metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and customer experience. This individual will act as a key marketing contact for sales teams and leaders, participating in account planning, sales calls, meetings, and QBRs, and leveraging global marketing resources to fulfill field requirements while finding ways to invent and simplify without relying on large budgets.
Key job responsibilities
Own and execute Leo’s North America enterprise demand generation engine, planning and running integrated outbound and inbound campaigns—email sequences, content syndication, paid social (LinkedIn), SEM, webinars, and event-driven programs—to build qualified pipeline across priority verticals and named accounts.
Develop and manage integrated campaign calendars aligned to Leo’s enterprise GTM milestones, service availability expansions, key industry events, and EBC programming, ensuring marketing plays are sequenced to amplify field sales moments.
Partner closely with field sellers and SDRs to coordinate outbound prospecting, align campaign calendars to account pursuit timelines, co-develop vertical-specific messaging, and ensure marketing investment is concentrated where sales is actively engaged.
Brief and direct central marketing channel owners on Leo’s enterprise targeting inputs (account lists, vertical personas, intent signals) to activate demand capture programs across paid media, content syndication, and webinar channels.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
Support and help evolve Leo’s emerging ABM practice by working with sales to identify high-value target accounts and provide reps relevant messaging and tailored outreach for each priority company. Connect email, LinkedIn outreach, and sales calls around the same business challenge.
Develop personalized outreach plays and coordinate buying-committee engagement within named accounts. Plays may include LinkedIn account-targeted ads, invitation-only discussions for executives in a specific industry or role, event roundtables, executive briefings, hospitality event, roadshows, etc., with the discussion centered on a business issue rather than a product pitch, with a relevant expert or customer perspective.
Leverage ABM platforms (e.g., Demandbase) and intent data to inform account prioritization, audience targeting, and campaign personalization—partnering with marketing ops to continuously improve account scoring and segmentation.
Marketing Technology & Process Improvement
Look for opportunities to use AI tools and automation to increase marketing efficiency—such as streamlining account research, personalizing outbound sequences, or accelerating content creation—without needing to be a technical builder.
Help maintain and improve the marketing tech stack (MAP, CRM, ABM platform) by partnering with marketing ops, identifying workflow gaps, and documenting repeatable campaign playbooks the broader team can scale.
Measurement & Reporting
Define and track enterprise demand gen KPIs—including MQLs, MQAs, influenced pipeline, account coverage, and pipeline velocity—and run structured experiments to continuously improve program performance.
Build and maintain performance dashboards that connect campaign activity to pipeline outcomes, translating data into actionable insights for field sales, SDR leadership, and the broader North America marketing team.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
A day in the life
On a day-to-day basis, the Sr. Marketing Manager coordinates with sales teams to align account priorities and campaign execution, develops and refines targeted content and marketing materials for specific accounts and industries, monitors and analyzes ABM campaign performance data to identify optimization opportunities, and participates in sales team calls and planning sessions. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional marketing team stakeholders across Product Marketing, PR, Marketing Ops, Events, Brand, and Social—as well as Sales, Solution Architects, and Business Development—to ensure program alignment, deliver a consistent customer experience, and keep campaigns on track.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- 6+ years of experience in B2B demand generation or account-based marketing, with at least 2 years operating in an enterprise GTM motion with a field sales team and named account targets.
- Understanding of enterprise ABM mechanics and the tools that support them (like Demandbase), intent signal interpretation, account scoring, and buying committee mapping, well enough to brief, direct, and optimize program performance even when not directly instrumenting every tool.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work across account-level data sources (Salesforce, MAP dashboards) to surface account engagement signals, measure pipeline influence, and make data-driven program decisions.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred) for building and managing enterprise nurture programs, including vertical-specific email sequences, decision-tree logic, account-level scoring thresholds, and MQA handoff triggers integrated with Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to define enterprise demand gen KPIs (MQAs, account coverage, pipeline influence, velocity), interpret multi-touch attribution data, and translate program performance into actionable recommendations for both marketing and sales leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to write compelling campaign briefs, creative direction, and executive-ready performance summaries.
- Experience marketing to enterprise or strategic accounts in satellite, telecommunications, broadband, cloud infrastructure, or industrial technology market segments, with familiarity with the operational and procurement complexity of large organizational buyers.
- Experience working in both a hyperscaler business and an early-stage (launch-phase) business where strategy is actively being built rather than inherited.
- Proven ability to communicate performance results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
