About this job

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The Amazon Leo North America Consumer team is looking for a talented Senior Marketing Manager who will lead strategy for core programs and audiences across the US, Canada, and Mexico. This role is responsible for building full-funnel marketing strategies for core programs and audiences including small business owners, consumer broadband funding projects, and partnerships. You will bring multi-channel marketing expertise combined with effective program management skills. You will own team-wide programmatic solutions to help global Performance Marketing teams function effectively. You will work closely with channel marketers, go-to-market leads, insights, and central Amazon teams. A successful candidate will have experience planning multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver results, and bring a toolbox of program and project management systems with proven effectiveness. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build multi-channel marketing strategies and requirements for Leo programs in partnership with go-to-market and consumer growth teams.
  • Dive deep into audience insights to forecast business opportunity and build an effective channel strategy.
  • Establish program and project management solutions for regional scaling, operational readiness, and creative development processes.
  • Track and report on performance marketing KPIs (clicks, conversions, CPA) as part of weekly and monthly business reviews.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
  • Experience in audience segmentation and targeting
