About this job

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. One way we do that is through Amazon Flex — a programme that connects independent Delivery Partners with customers through a mobile-first platform operating across 11 countries and 14 business lines worldwide.

The Flex Evolve Change Management and Strategic Planning team sits at the centre of how Flex plans, governs, and delivers change at scale. We own the end-to-end governance framework that ensures every change to the Flex programme is documented, stakeholder-reviewed, and leadership-approved before it reaches Delivery Partners in the field. We also lead the annual OP1 strategic planning cycle for WW Flex, managing the intake, prioritisation, and alignment of investment proposals across all Flex tech and business teams. Our process spans all Flex regions worldwide and operates across a stakeholder base of 500+ across 62 teams.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join the team and take ownership of a regional Change Management portfolio. You will manage the full Evolve CM governance cycle — from intake through to approval — while driving the adoption of AI tooling that is transforming how we build, review, and quality-check submissions at scale. If you are excited by the intersection of structured governance and emerging AI, and want to operate in a fast-moving, globally-scoped programme, this is the role.

Key job responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Own a regional Flex Evolve Change Management portfolio from intake through pre-alignment, approval build, and governance to sign-off
  • Partner with Project Owners across your region to ensure submissions meet quality standards before entering the approval chain
  • Drive adoption of AI tooling across the Change Management workflow, including automated approval generation, executive summary tools, and quality-check capabilities
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across country teams, Legal, Communications, and regional leadership to progress approvals on time and within agreed timelines
  • Track and report on key program metrics including approval dwell time, intake compliance, and submission quality, identifying trends and driving improvements
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Evolve Change Management governance framework, including the annual governance matrix review
  • Support leadership decision-making by producing clear, concise approval summaries tailored for Director and VP-level audiences
  • Collaborate with the broader Change Management team on cross-regional initiatives, process standardization, and program tooling.

A day in the life

You start your day reviewing your active regional approval portfolio — tracking what is in pre-alignment, what is live in the chain, and where action is needed. You work closely with Project Owners to shape submissions before they reach Director and VP-level reviewers, ensuring every approval is clear, complete, and decision-ready.

Beyond running the process, you help improve it. The team is investing in AI and automation to reduce manual effort and raise submission quality, and you will contribute directly to that work — testing new tools, identifying friction points, and helping build a smarter governance process.

About the team

The Flex Evolve Change Management and Strategic Planning team is a small, high-impact team operating at the centre of how Amazon Flex governs and delivers change worldwide. We set the governance framework, run the approval process, and build the AI tools that make it better — all at once. Our work is visible at the most senior levels of the Flex organisation and directly shapes what gets delivered to hundreds of thousands of Delivery Partners globally. We move fast, operate with a high bar, and expect every team member to own their space and improve it.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of general AI tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
