Sr Solutions Architect, AWSI MEGS

Are you a passionate builder with deep expertise in media production and distribution? The Comcast global account team is seeking a Sr Solutions Architect to work with NBC Studios and other media properties. Experience with Content Production, Media Services, and Media Supply Chain/Archive are required for the role. This is a hands-on, studio-facing role where you will architect end-to-end solutions on AWS spanning the content production lifecycle — from production, editing, and post-production through ingest, transcode, media asset management, archive, and distribution-to-platform delivery. Strong engineering background is essential; hands-on experience with cloud engineering is strongly preferred.

As a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) at AWS, you'll independently architect complex, production-grade solutions for studio environments and serve as a trusted technical advisor to studio CTOs, VPs of Technology, and production engineering leaders — shaping their strategic cloud vision for the media lifecycle on AWS while diving deep into technical details with creative technologists, post-production supervisors, and pipeline engineers. You'll bring a credible, forward-looking technical vision for end-to-end cloud-native content production and distribution, and provide hands-on architectural guidance for real-life customer projects involving AWS services and ISV/partner solutions.

In this role, you'll be a content creator, a storyteller, and a presenter, building and publishing content. You'll work with customers remotely and in person, sharing your expertise and insights. This role involves domestic and potential international travel.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Architect and deliver innovative, customer-obsessed solutions leveraging AWS services and partner offerings.
• Foster strategic partnerships with key industry players, driving thought leadership and shaping industry trends.
• Create high-quality enablement content, including guidance, blogs, demos, POCs, and presentations.
• Engage with customers, partners, and industry events to inspire and educate on the transformative potential of AWS solutions.
• Deliver written and spoken communications on complex ad-technology/content monetization subjects and establish AWS as the public cloud of choice for industry organizations looking to accelerate revenue growth and improve return on assets.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in broadcast and media services.
• Media Services, Media Supply Chain and Archive, Content Production

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
