Our mission is to help enterprises unlock the potential of AI by connecting people, machines, and data to deliver measurable business outcomes and exceptional customer and employee experiences.

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Vice President, Product Monetization & Pricing to lead pricing, packaging, monetization, cost of goods sold (COGS), and strategic vendor management across Uniphore's AI, Data, Platform, and Application portfolio.

This is a strategic product and monetization leadership role focused on defining how enterprise customers purchase, consume, and derive value from Uniphore's products while ensuring strong underlying product economics.

The ideal candidate combines deep product leadership, commercial strategy, cloud infrastructure economics, and experience managing strategic technology vendors and partnerships.

A core responsibility will be translating complex AI workloads, cloud consumption models, and infrastructure cost structures into scalable and differentiated commercial offerings that accelerate product adoption, drive revenue growth, and support sustainable gross margins.

This leader will also own product COGS optimization, key technology vendor selection, vendor performance management, and commercial negotiations to ensure the company maintains a competitive and cost-efficient technology foundation.

Reporting to the CTPO, this executive will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Finance, Infrastructure, Sales, and GTM leadership to drive monetization strategy, product economics, strategic vendor decisions, and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Product Monetization & Pricing Strategy

  • Own and execute pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy across AI, Data, Platform, and Application products.
  • Define how products and platform capabilities are commercialized, including pricing structures, product tiers, consumption models, and enterprise offerings.
  • Develop and scale consumption-based, usage-based, subscription, and hybrid monetization models aligned with customer value and market demand.
  • Integrate monetization strategy into product roadmap planning, product development, and launch decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate product adoption, customer expansion, revenue growth, and profitability through differentiated pricing and packaging.
  • Lead strategic monetization decisions for new AI capabilities, platform services, APIs, and enterprise applications.

Product COGS & Unit Economics

  • Own product COGS strategy, performance, and optimization across Uniphore's AI, Data, Platform, and Application portfolio.
  • Establish frameworks to measure, manage, and optimize infrastructure, compute, inference, storage, data processing, and third-party technology costs.
  • Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Finance to develop and execute cost optimization strategies without compromising product performance, scalability, or customer experience.
  • Drive improvements in product gross margins through infrastructure efficiency, consumption optimization, vendor economics, and architectural decisions.
  • Establish unit economics and cost-to-serve models across products, customer segments, and workloads.
  • Analyze the financial impact of product architecture, deployment choices, and technology partnerships on COGS and long-term profitability.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and performance metrics for product COGS, consumption efficiency, gross margins, and cost optimization initiatives.

Strategic Vendor Selection, Management & Negotiation

  • Own strategic vendor selection and commercial management for key technology providers supporting Uniphore's AI and platform infrastructure.
  • Lead vendor evaluation and selection based on technical capabilities, scalability, performance, cost efficiency, commercial flexibility, and long-term strategic fit.
  • Drive commercial negotiations with hyperscalers, GPU and compute providers, AI model providers, data infrastructure vendors, and other critical technology partners.
  • Negotiate pricing structures, consumption commitments, volume discounts, service agreements, and commercial terms to optimize product economics.
  • Establish vendor performance metrics, cost benchmarks, governance frameworks, and periodic business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors, optimize contracts, reduce infrastructure costs, and improve commercial leverage.
  • Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure leadership to assess build-versus-buy decisions and evaluate alternative technology providers.
  • Manage vendor concentration, commercial dependencies, and cost-related risks while maintaining scalability and operational flexibility.

AI, Data & Cloud Platform Economics

  • Translate complex AI, data, and cloud infrastructure economics into scalable, customer-facing commercial models.
  • Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to understand GPU consumption, compute utilization, inference, storage, data processing, and platform operating costs.
  • Develop monetization frameworks for AI workloads, including LLM inference, API consumption, agent execution, and AI platform services.
  • Balance customer value, competitive positioning, infrastructure costs, and sustainable gross margins.
  • Use unit economics, customer consumption patterns, and market insights to guide pricing, vendor, and product investment decisions.
  • Partner with Finance on economic modeling while maintaining Product ownership of monetization and COGS strategy.

Product Packaging & Commercial Innovation

  • Design product packaging strategies that simplify enterprise purchasing and accelerate customer adoption.
  • Develop commercial models supporting enterprise subscriptions, consumption commitments, platform usage, and customer expansion.
  • Define monetization approaches for developer APIs, AI services, platform capabilities, and partner ecosystems.
  • Identify differentiated pricing opportunities based on workload characteristics, customer segments, deployment models, and business value.
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure pricing and packaging align with product differentiation and customer needs.
  • Evaluate innovative pricing models as enterprise AI adoption, vendor economics, and consumption patterns evolve.

Go-to-Market & Revenue Growth

  • Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Operations to bring pricing and packaging strategies to market.
  • Develop commercial frameworks that help customers understand product value, consumption economics, and return on investment.
  • Support major product launches, strategic enterprise opportunities, and commercialization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with GTM leadership to drive product adoption, revenue expansion, and customer retention.
  • Establish feedback loops across customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering to continuously improve monetization models.
  • Monitor pricing and monetization performance and recommend strategies to improve business outcomes.

Monetization Governance & Performance

  • Establish scalable pricing, vendor, and COGS governance frameworks and operating processes.
  • Define performance metrics, including product adoption, consumption growth, revenue realization, gross margins, and cost-to-serve.
  • Drive data-informed monetization and cost optimization decisions using customer behavior, competitive insights, vendor performance, and product economics.
  • Partner with Finance and Revenue Operations to ensure pricing models can be implemented, measured, and supported operationally.
  • Develop frameworks to evaluate monetization opportunities, pricing changes, vendor investments, and commercial trade-offs.
  • Present pricing strategy, COGS performance, vendor economics, and business recommendations to executive leadership.

Executive Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence

  • Serve as the executive leader for product monetization, pricing, and COGS strategy.
  • Influence product investment, commercialization, vendor selection, and architectural decisions in partnership with Product and Engineering leaders.
  • Build alignment across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Finance, Sales, and GTM teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance on the commercial and economic implications of emerging AI technologies and platform capabilities.
  • Build and scale product monetization, pricing, and vendor management capabilities as the organization grows.
