The successful candidate will deliver accurate, timely, and engaging forecasts; create compelling multiplatform weather content; and play an important role in PIX11+'s expanding live streaming operation. The role includes supporting weekend morning newscasts and weekday shifts focused on broadcast, streaming, digital, and social content.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the studio, in the field during significant weather events, and producing digital and social-first content that enhances audience engagement and understanding. The successful candidate should also be comfortable creating content on news and community topics beyond the immediate weather forecast when needed.

Streaming, Digital & Social Media
- Serve as a meteorologist for PIX11+ live streaming, including breaking weather events, severe weather coverage, special programming, and regularly scheduled live streams.
- Develop and present weather content specifically designed for streaming audiences, including extended forecasts, explainers, live discussions, and special coverage.
- Create platform-specific weather content, including short-form videos, forecasts, explainers, storm updates, and audience engagement features.
- Create engaging vertical video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and emerging platforms using platform-specific storytelling techniques.
