About this job
About 9fin
9fin is the AI platform powering global debt markets — the world’s largest asset class at over $145 trillion.
Debt markets are vast, global, and mission-critical, yet still run on fragmented data, PDFs, and manual workflows. 9fin replaces this broken infrastructure with a single platform that centralises proprietary credit data, deep analysis, and high-value workflows across global markets.
Today, 9fin powers teams at 300+ blue-chip institutions worldwide, including global banks, asset managers, private equity firms, law firms, and advisors. The business is scaling at exceptional speed, with rapid expansion in the US and best-in-class retention driven by deep workflow adoption.
We’re at a defining inflection point. With proven product-market fit and strong, global market pull, 9fin is accelerating toward becoming the category-defining platform for debt markets worldwide.
The Opportunity
9fin is moving from a data and intelligence platform to a vertical AI company, delivering AI-powered workflows through contextual AI chat and autonomous agents built on top of our proprietary credit data. That shift changes what we sell, how we sell it, and the story we tell.
The Director of Product Marketing will lead positioning, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market launches across 9fin's product portfolio. You will lead a team of three senior product marketing managers (one in New York, two in London), with scope to add a fourth in 2027. This is a hands-on leadership role based in New York, our fastest-growing market. You will set the strategic direction for the function while personally running some of the highest-impact launches.
Reports to: Chief Product Officer
What You'll Work On
Own the end-to-end launch process across ten product squads, from goal-setting, positioning, marketing launch, sales enablement, and post-launch measurement.
Define and maintain 9fin’s value proposition, ICP and segment-level messaging, and consistent frameworks across channels.
Build competitive intelligence, drawing on win/loss patterns, pipeline signals, and market movement, and equip sales with enablement they actually use (battle cards, first-call decks, demo narratives).
Collaborate with our brand marketing team to build a credible AI narrative.
Bring market evidence into roadmap and sequencing decisions as a member of the product leadership team.
Be the senior product marketing voice for the US, working closely with product and go-to-market teams.
Partner with demand generation, brand, content, and sales team on campaigns, pricing inputs, and customer adoption programmes.
Contribute product marketing perspective to pricing and packaging, including for agent-based products.
Represent 9fin externally at industry conferences, in trade press, and in front of large client audiences.
