About this job
Who We Are
Imprint helps the world's best brands grow the lifetime value of their customers. We started with co-branded credit cards and rebuilt them to be smarter, more rewarding, and brand-first. We partner with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. But the card is just the beginning. We combine advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and deep customer data to create delightful and personalized experiences for members as well as efficient and profitable relationships for our brand partners. Our robust technology and world-class operations allow us and our brand partners to offer powerful financial products without becoming a bank.
In the U.S., co-branded cards alone account for over $300 billion in annual spend, and most still run on decades-old legacy bank systems. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, embeddable, and built for how people actually pay today. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, Ribbit, and Khosla Ventures, we're building a world-class team to redefine how people pay and how brands grow. If you want to move fast, solve hard problems, and own real outcomes, we want to meet you.
As General Manager, you are the owner of your business. You’ll sit on one of Imprint’s Partner Success Teams, a small cross-functional pod that brings Revenue, Marketing, and Solutions & Delivery together around a shared portfolio of partners. Within that team, you own the full business outcomes for your partner program, and every Imprint interaction with your partner runs through you.
This is a high-accountability leadership role at the intersection of partner relationship management, P&L ownership, and internal execution. You’ll act as the CEO of your partner program: translating data into strategy, driving top-line growth, building trust with your partner, and keeping the operational rigor your program needs to thrive.
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
Fully own all partner interactions — the partner knows you as their primary point of contact
Become the subject matter expert on your card program, including its unit economics, P&L, and how it contributes to the partner's underlying business
Develop a clear, data-backed point of view on how to drive new account growth and existing cardholder spend what is working and what is not, and translate it into a concrete period strategy
Stand up and own a rigorous operational cadence with your team to track results, activities, and performance
Establish strong internal cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, marketing, risk, credit, and finance
Contribute meaningfully to top-line metrics — new accounts and total spend
Responsibilities
Own the P&L and business outcomes for your card program, including top-line growth metrics, unit economics and contribution profit
Serve as the primary partner-facing relationship owner
Develop and execute strategies (quarterly, annual) grounded in a rigorous analysis of marketing levers, financial trade-offs, and performance data
Build financial and account forecasts from program data to support planning and decision-making
Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, marketing, risk, credit, compliance, and finance to unblock roadmap priorities and escalation solutions
Proactively deep-dive on program data to surface problems before they are raised by partners or customers
Maintain a rigorous operational cadence to track team results, activities, and performance
Prioritize time and effort ruthlessly — identifying where your focus will have the highest business impact
Act as a true business owner: use the product, understand rewards, engage with customer service, and represent the program internally and externally
Qualifications
Required
Demonstrated experience owning a P&L end-to-end — including understanding unit economics and making channel investment trade-offs
Strong analytical skills: ability to build financial and account forecasts, deep-dive on data independently, and translate findings into clear strategy
Experience in client- or partner-facing roles with a track record of building trust and owning relationships at a senior level
Comfort operating without support infrastructure — a self-starter who surfaces their own data, develops their own point of view, and drives toward outcomes independently
Ability to work cross-functionally and quickly — building relationships across engineering, product, marketing, finance, risk, and compliance
Strong prioritization skills — ability to triage competing demands and direct effort where it will have the most impact
Positive, adaptive approach to fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments
Nice to Have
Background in consulting (e.g., strategy, operations, or analytics-heavy roles), CPG/retail category management, or fintech/startup environments
Experience with self-serve analytics tools or comfort querying data directly (e.g., Snowflake, SQL, or AI-assisted analysis)
Familiarity with credit card program mechanics, interchange economics, or co-brand partnership structures — though this can be taught
Perks & Benefits
Competitive compensation and equity packages
Leading configured work computers of your choice
Flexible paid time off
Fully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverage
Additional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA
20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parents
Access to industry-leading technology across all of our business units, stemming from our philosophy that we should invest in resources for our team that foster innovation, optimization, and productivity
