About this job
About Polymarket
Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.
We're growing fast, both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.
About the Role
The Marketing team at Polymarket is responsible for telling the world what Polymarket is, why it matters, and why trading here is better than reading a poll. We work across growth, brand, comms, and product, and we move fast because the news moves fast.
As Head of Product Marketing, you'll own how we bring Polymarket's product to market. You'll sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Growth, and Comms, translating what we're building into clear positioning, compelling stories, and go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and usage.
You'll help shape how we position the product, which audiences we prioritize, how we launch new features and verticals, and how we communicate the value of Polymarket to both existing and prospective traders. You'll bring customer insights and competitive intelligence back into Product, ensuring we're not just marketing what we build, but helping inform what we build.
This is a high-ownership role with significant surface area. You'll touch everything from new market verticals and trading mechanics to mobile onboarding, rewards, and major company-level launches. You'll also have the opportunity to build and scale the Product Marketing function as Polymarket grows.
What You'll Do
Own the product marketing strategy and function, including positioning, messaging, audience strategy, and go-to-market planning.
Partner closely with Product and Growth leadership to shape product strategy based on customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends.
Develop clear positioning and messaging for Polymarket's product, features, market verticals, and key initiatives.
Own go-to-market strategy for major product launches, from defining the audience and narrative through channel strategy, execution, and post-launch analysis.
Build launch frameworks and processes that enable Product, Marketing, Growth, and Comms to move quickly and stay aligned.
Develop deep understanding of Polymarket's users, including why they trade, what drives adoption, and where we can improve conversion and retention.
Translate complex product mechanics into simple, compelling narratives that make sense to both existing traders and new audiences.
Lead competitive research and market intelligence, using those insights to inform positioning and product decisions.
Partner with Brand, Social, Communications, and Growth to ensure product messaging is consistent and differentiated across every channel.
Establish measurement frameworks for product marketing and evaluate launches based on adoption, engagement, trading activity, and revenue.
Lead post-launch analysis and turn learnings into improvements to product positioning, messaging, and future GTM strategy.
Build and manage the Product Marketing team as the function grows.
What We're Looking For
8+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally at a high-growth consumer technology company.
Has owned product marketing strategy and major B2C go-to-market launches from positioning through execution and measurement.
Exceptional at translating complex products or concepts into simple, compelling positioning and messaging.
Strong strategic thinker who can connect customer insights, product strategy, and business objectives.
Proven ability to influence Product, Growth, Brand, and Comms teams without relying on direct authority.
Deep understanding of customer research, competitive intelligence, segmentation, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
Excellent written and verbal communicator. Can write everything from a one-line product message to a comprehensive GTM strategy.
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities change quickly and launches can be driven by breaking news or live events.
Highly analytical and comfortable using data to understand product adoption, customer behavior, and marketing performance.
Strong operator who can move between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
(Plus) Genuine interest in news, sports, politics, or financial markets.
(Plus) Experience with event-driven products or marketing tied to live sports, elections, breaking news, or other real-time events.
(Plus) Experience building or managing a Product Marketing team.
