About this job
Who We Are
Imprint helps the world's best brands grow the lifetime value of their customers. We started with co-branded credit cards and rebuilt them to be smarter, more rewarding, and brand-first. We partner with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. But the card is just the beginning. We combine advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and deep customer data to create delightful and personalized experiences for members as well as efficient and profitable relationships for our brand partners. Our robust technology and world-class operations allow us and our brand partners to offer powerful financial products without becoming a bank.
In the U.S., co-branded cards alone account for over $300 billion in annual spend, and most still run on decades-old legacy bank systems. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, embeddable, and built for how people actually pay today. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, Ribbit, and Khosla Ventures, we're building a world-class team to redefine how people pay and how brands grow. If you want to move fast, solve hard problems, and own real outcomes, we want to meet you.
About the Role
As Lead Product Manager for Agentic Commerce, you'll define what agentic payments and rewards look like at Imprint, then go build it. This is a zero-to-one role: you'll run a small skunkworks team that ships in tight increments, puts new products in front of real users fast, and lets the market tell us what works.
We're looking for someone who is energized by ambiguity, deeply fluent in payments, and genuinely obsessed with AI agents. You don't just follow the space; you use agents every day and build with them yourself.
Agentic Commerce is a small, high-autonomy team inside Imprint's payments organization. It operates like a startup within the company: few dependencies, short cycles, and a bias toward shipping something real over polishing a plan.
You'll report to the product leader for Payments, Risk and Customer Operations, and partner day to day with engineers on our payments and messaging platform. You'll also work closely with partnerships, risk, compliance and our brand partners to turn experiments into products that can run at scale.
The Opportunity
Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for agentic commerce at Imprint, from how agents initiate and authorize payments to how cardholders use agents to earn and redeem rewards.
Run a fast build-measure-learn loop: frame a bet, ship the smallest version that tests it, read the signal, and decide whether to scale, pivot or kill it.
Prototype hands-on with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor and similar) to get from idea to something users can touch in days, not quarters.
Get close to the power users who already use agents to optimize their spending and rewards, and turn what you learn into products they'd pay attention to.
Track the agentic payments ecosystem (network and wallet agent programs, agent payment protocols, tokenization) and decide where Imprint should build, partner or wait.
Work with risk, compliance and our bank partners to design agent-initiated payment flows that are safe and auditable from day one.
Make the case for what's working to leadership and brand partners, and help shape how Imprint takes agentic products to market.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 days: you've talked to dozens of power users and partners, picked the first two or three bets, and shipped at least one experiment to real users.
First 6 months: a repeatable cadence of small releases, with clear evidence on which agentic use cases drive engagement, spend or rewards value.
First 12 months: at least one agentic product live with brand partners, and a point of view on agentic commerce that shapes Imprint's broader product strategy.
Your Profile
8+ years building products, as a product manager, founder or both, with a track record of taking something from zero to real usage.
Strong payments experience: card networks, issuing, acquiring, tokenization, wallets or money movement. You understand how a transaction actually flows and where the hard problems live.
Demonstrated high agency in ambiguous environments. You've been handed a blank page with no team, playbook or clear owner and delivered measurable impact anyway.
A genuine, hands-on passion for AI agents, shown through what you've built, shipped or tinkered with, not just what you've read.
Fluency with core LLM and agent concepts (tool use, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails) and the judgment to turn them into reliable products that handle real money.
Comfort prototyping with modern AI-native tools and working directly in code alongside engineers.
Clear, concise communication. You can explain a complex system to an engineer, a bank partner and an executive in the same afternoon.
We care more about what you've done than how your resume is titled. If you meet most of these and are excited by the role, we encourage you to apply.
Bonus Points
You've founded a company, ideally after starting your career as a PM, and spent time building in payments along the way.
You were the first PM at an early-stage startup.
You've built or shipped an agent, agent integration or agentic payments product.
Experience with credit cards, rewards or loyalty programs.
You're a rewards optimizer yourself, and you already have agents doing some of that work for you.
