About this job

Kargo creates powerful moments of connection between brands and consumers to build businesses. Every day, our dynamic teams work to radically raise the bar on what agentic AI, CTV, eCommerce, social, and mobile can do to deliver unique ad experiences across the world’s most premium platforms. Taking a Creative Science approach to all we do, we continuously innovate solutions that outperform industry benchmarks and client expectations. Kargo is growing rapidly and currently has offices in NYC, Chicago, LA, Dallas, Sydney, Auckland, London and Waterford, Ireland.

Who We Hire

Techies who want to build the future. Creatives who want to design it better. Communicators to win business. Collaborators to build it. Data pros who turn numbers into insights. Product builders who turn ideas into innovations. Anyone eager to be on a team that doesn’t stop to ask what’s next, because they’re already building it.

The Opportunity

The Manager, Revenue & Marketing Systems will own the technology that powers how Kargo sells, generates demand, and grows revenue across both our Direct Sales and Self-Service/SaaS motions. This highly hands-on role sits at the center of Salesforce architecture, integrations, automation, and data integrity, partnering across Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to build scalable systems that help our teams move faster and make better decisions.

The Daily To-Do

  • Own and continuously improve Kargo’s commercial technology ecosystem, including Salesforce, marketing automation, Customer Success platforms, sales tools, and related integrations across the full customer lifecycle.
  • Architect and administer Salesforce for scale, including data models, security and sharing, permission structures, Flows, automation, integrations, and governance, while building reusable solutions rather than one-off fixes.
  • Own the technical backbone of Marketing operations, including HubSpot and other marketing automation tools, demand generation workflows, lead scoring, segmentation, campaign and event workflows, and Marketing-to-Sales handoffs.
  • Ensure commercial data is accurate, trusted, and actionable across accounts, contacts, pipeline, renewals, and expansion, establishing strong data quality standards and resolving gaps before they impact reporting or business decisions.
  • Design and optimize systems that support both Managed Sales and Self-Service/SaaS motions, including trial and onboarding flows, renewal and expansion signals, and clean handoffs across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Evaluate the commercial tech stack and make thoughtful recommendations on what to build, buy, integrate, renew, consolidate, or retire, using automation and AI where they meaningfully improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Establish clear intake, prioritization, testing, documentation, and delivery processes for systems requests, partnering cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and drive work through completion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, GTM Systems, or a related technical operations role, with a track record of owning complex commercial systems end to end.
  • Deep, hands-on Salesforce experience at an architectural level, including data models, security and sharing, permission sets, Flows, integrations, and scalable system design; Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Experience owning and integrating a GTM technology stack spanning CRM, enrichment, sales engagement, quoting/CPQ, Customer Success, marketing automation, and reporting tools.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Marketo, including demand generation workflows, lead scoring, segmentation, nurture programs, campaign operations, and event/webinar systems.
  • Strong understanding of data models, data quality, automation architecture, integrations, and reporting; experience with tools such as Looker, Omni, Tableau, SQL, n8n, Workato, or Zapier is a plus.
  • Experience supporting SaaS, self-service, or product-led growth motions alongside a Managed Sales organization is strongly preferred.
  • Strong cross-functional judgment and communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous business needs into scalable technical solutions, build stakeholder buy-in, and take ownership from scoping through UAT, documentation, launch, and ongoing system health.
