About this job

At Amazon Ads, we’re re-imagining the advertising landscape through advanced generative AI technologies and AI agents, revolutionizing how millions of customers discover products and engage with brands online. We are at the forefront of re-inventing advertising experiences, bridging human creativity with artificial intelligence to transform every aspect of the advertising lifecycle from ad creation and optimization to performance analysis and customer insights.

Amazon is looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Localization and agentic core infrastructure (SDK, Runtime, Builder Tools) that enables agent and skill builders to develop, test, and operate production-grade agentic experiences at scale. This product manager will innovate leveraging and extending AWS core primitives like Agent Core to fulfill Amazon Ads specific needs like agent authorization, guardrails, shared memory, and fully managed runtime for complex multi-step reasoning and multi-agent workflows.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the vision and strategy for Localization and Agentic AI Core Infra products and features
  • Write business and technical product documents that work backwards from different types of customers, including advertisers and agent builders
  • Drive developer experience, SDK and runtime experience, and underlying product requirements, including functional and non-functional needs
  • Leverage AWS core services for compute, memory, and database to build Localization and Agentic Infra for Ads
  • Partner effectively with other leaders in product, design, engineering, science and business intelligence to influence priorities and drive alignment
  • Plan and deliver on executive level goals to deliver proof of concept as well as production scale solutions
  • Exhibit excellent judgment on how to prioritize between emerging technologies and existing ones for right sized features, architectural improvements and revenue entitlement
  • Monitor project execution and ensuring that the delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with target dates
  • If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, know how to deliver, are technical, highly innovative and long for the opportunity to build pioneering solutions to challenging problems, we’d love to talk to you!

A day in the life

Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic thinking and collaborative problem-solving. You'll engage with engineers and scientists from partner teams, exploring breakthrough AI-driven advertising technologies that connect customers with brands in meaningful ways. Expect to dive deep into complex challenges, prototype innovative solutions, and translate inventive concepts into tangible product experiences with the agility of a startup but at Amazon scale. Day-to-day activities include, but not limited to:

  • Meet 1x1 with agent builders and advertisers to understand their pain points and needs
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a vision for generative AI experiences as well as tools
  • Prepare shaping documents, BRDs, PR FAQs, and other artifacts
  • Deep dive voice-of-the-customer feedback and quality benchmark results
  • Review publications for new developments
  • Work 1x1 with engineers and scientists
