About this job
The Retail Experience Design & Development roleleads the full lifecycle of high-visibility retail experience initiatives that bring the Amazon, Blink, and Ring brands and product experiences to life in physical environments. Based in Seattle and anchored at Amazon’s Ivy Retail Experience Center — Amazon’s flagship showroom, prototyping, and technology-validation facility — this role owns how customers discover, understand, and adopt our products through immersive retail storytelling, best-in-class fixture design, and merchandising systems that scale globally.
The role partners closely with design, engineering, operations, channel marketing, and vendor partners to bring fixture experiences to life — from concept through production to sustained optimization — and serves as the final quality and validation gate before experiences and technology deploy to Amazon’s retail footprint.
This leader is the creative and operational owner of the Ivy Retail Experience Center: managing and curating the space so it consistently presents as a world-class, visitor-ready showroom for executives, retail partners, and cross-functional teams. They set the standard for how Amazon Devices shows up in retail — translating complex customer needs and marketing goals into compelling in-store experiences that measurably drive adoption, consideration, and engagement.
Key job responsibilities
Fixture Strategy & RFP Leadership
Drive fixture RFP processes that align with marketing objectives, customer insights, and product positioning. Ensure proposed designs elevate product storytelling, deepen customer understanding, and advance adoption goals across the Amazon, Blink, and Ring portfolios.
Creative Fixture Design & Experience Development
Translate product value propositions and marketing messages into physical displays, interactive demos, and merchandising systems. Partner with design agencies to create fixtures that are visually compelling, brand-forward, and optimized for the customer journey — setting the creative bar for how Devices appears at retail.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product marketing, retail, channel partners, design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure fixture and merchandising solutions reinforce broader campaign strategies and product narratives. Influence channel alignment and surface insights that improve the customer experience across touchpoints.
Vendor Strategy & Fixture Development
Own the vendor relationships and development pipeline that bring fixture concepts to life with craftsmanship, quality, and consistency. Lead development cycles across a multi-vendor network, set clear creative and marketing requirements, run vendor reviews and business rhythms, and ensure final outputs meet brand standards, cost targets, and campaign timelines.
Interactive & Technology-Enabled Experiences
Lead 3P technology integrations — including sensors, touchbars, and interactive hardware — that elevate product demo experiences. Align interactive elements with marketing narratives and customer insights to improve engagement and product understanding.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
