The Director serves as the primary delivery interface between business stakeholders, architecture, and engineering, translating requirements into executable plans and driving sprint‑level outcomes.
What you’ll Do:

- Translate product roadmaps and business requirements into executable delivery plans, managing scope, capacity, dependencies, and sprint commitments.
- Partner with solution architects to ensure technical designs meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, and platform reuse across Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Health, Experience, Data).
- Drive sprint and release execution with discipline—owning backlog grooming, sprint planning, velocity tracking, release readiness, and go‑live coordination.
- Manage vendor delivery teams at the execution level, ensuring backlog readiness, quality standards, SLA adherence, and day‑to‑day delivery alignment.
- Operate delivery governance routines including stand‑ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, dependency management, and risk/issue escalation to senior leadership.
- Ensure all delivery practices meet McKesson's security, compliance, and regulatory requirements, embedding quality assurance and security‑by‑design into development workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, including adoption of DevOps tooling, automated testing, CI/CD maturity, and AI‑assisted development where applicable.
- Build strong working relationships with business product owners, IT partners, and end‑users to ensure solutions meet functional needs and drive measurable adoption and value.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience and 5+ years of diversified program leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).
- Proven executive accountability for enterprise‑scale Salesforce programs spanning multiple orgs, business units, and geographies.
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior business leaders to deliver measurable financial and operational outcomes.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, integrations, data platforms, and enterprise delivery models.
- Strong financial and portfolio management experience, including multi‑million‑dollar budgets and vendor ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect or similar role.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud, including hands-on implementation and customization.
- Experience with Salesforce Life Sciences, Field Service Lightning cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce Agentic AI
- Experience with patient support programs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, data modeling, and security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
