About this job
Ibotta is seeking a Senior B2B Communications Manager to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate & B2B Communications, this role is purpose-built for a sharp, versatile writer who understands technology products and knows how to bring them to life for an enterprise audience (inclusive of CPG and retail). You will drive the written voice of the Ibotta Performance Network (IPN), translating product capabilities and consumer insights into compelling narratives that drive brand awarenåess, credibility, and commercial momentum.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
Not based in Denver? We will offer a relocation bonus to help make your move to the Mile High City a smooth one.
What You'll Do
Product Launch & Release Communications
Own end-to-end communications for IPN product launches and feature releases, including narrative development and messaging frameworks to press materials and external announcements
Partner closely with product and marketing teams to deeply understand what's being built and why it matters, then translate that into crisp, audience-ready communications
Develop and maintain a product communications calendar that keeps launches coordinated, timely, and impactful
Ensure product announcements ladder up to Ibotta's broader B2B positioning and category challenger narrative
Thought Leadership & Bylines
Research, write, and place high-quality bylines, contributed articles, and opinion pieces on behalf of Ibotta's executives and subject matter experts
Develop a consistent pipeline of thought leadership content that reinforces IPN's position as the performance marketing platform for CPGs
Collaborate with the Vice President to identify the right voices, venues, and topics for these pieces
Monitor industry trends, competitor narratives, and category conversations to identify timely angles and whitespace opportunities
Messaging & Content Development
Serve as a go-to writer and editor across the communications function
Build and maintain core messaging documents, narrative frameworks, and positioning guides that keep IPN's story consistent across channels and audiences
Support the development of executive talking points, briefing documents, and press Q&As
What We're Looking For
5-7+ years of communications, content, or editorial experience, ideally in B2B technology, adtech, retail media, or a related field
An exceptional writer who can make complex technology feel clear, compelling, and consequential
Experience owning product communications or launch narratives in a fast-moving technology company
Demonstrated ability to write in multiple voices and for multiple audiences, from trade press editors to CPG executives
A proven editorial instinct with the ability to identify the most interesting angle in a product update and build a narrative around it
Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams to gather input and drive alignment
Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines without losing quality
Experience placing bylines or contributed content in trade or business publications is a plus
