This is a highly strategic role responsible for driving the technology, supply chain, and sourcing strategy for one of the most critical components enabling NVIDIA's next-generation AI systems. The ideal candidate will partner closely with engineering and suppliers to enable advanced PCB and laminate technologies, build a resilient upstream supply chain, and ensure NVIDIA's roadmap is supported by leading-edge manufacturing capabilities.

What you'll be doing:

The Senior Commodity Manager plays a key role in shaping NVIDIA's future platforms by aligning technology, supply chain, and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and suppliers to drive adoption of next-generation PCB and laminate technologies, ensuring manufacturing readiness for future AI platforms.

  • Build executive relationships with key suppliers to align roadmaps, investments, and capacity expansion plans.

  • Lead supplier business reviews, strategic negotiations, and long-term agreements that improve cost, quality, capacity, and supply assurance.

  • Drive should-cost analysis, cost reduction strategies, and commercial negotiations while balancing technology, quality, and supply continuity.

  • Lead risk management initiatives, including multi-sourcing strategies, capacity planning, material risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.

  • Enable early supplier involvement to accelerate innovation and achieve aggressive Speed of Light (SOL) development schedules.

  • Partner with Engineering throughout New Product Introduction (NPI) to identify technology, capacity, and supply risks early and develop mitigation plans.

What we need to see:

  • BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.

  • 12+ years of experience in global commodity management, strategic sourcing, or supplier management with significant experience in PCB, laminate, or advanced electronics manufacturing.

  • Experience developing long-term supply chain strategies that enable technology roadmaps and support rapid business growth.

  • Strong analytical skills including should-cost modeling, cost breakdown analysis, supplier benchmarking, capacity analysis, and supply-demand planning.

  • Proven ability to influence engineering, operations, and executive leadership through data-driven decision making.

  • Outstanding supplier relationship management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.

  • Experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics to improve sourcing decisions, supply chain insights, and data quality.

  • High degree of ownership, initiative, and the ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

With highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered one of the world's most desirable employers. If you're passionate about technology, enjoy solving some of the industry's most complex supply chain challenges, and want to help shape the future of AI computing, we'd love to hear from you.
