In this role, you will drive reliability assessment, silicon characterization, technology qualification, and certification activities for advanced embedded memory technologies. You will work across process development, device engineering, product engineering, design technology co-optimization (DTCO), and foundry customer teams to ensure memory technologies meet quality, reliability, and technology readiness objectives.

This position offers a unique opportunity to influence next-generation semiconductor technologies from development through production readiness. Successful candidates will combine strong technical expertise with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and the ability to effectively collaborate across highly cross-functional engineering organizations.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Develop and execute reliability qualification and certification methodologies for advanced embedded memory technologies.
  • Define, analyze, and interpret reliability stress tests, characterization data, and qualification results to assess technology readiness.
  • Investigate reliability risks, performance degradations, and failure mechanisms using statistical analysis and engineering fundamentals.
  • Lead cross-functional root cause investigations involving process integration, device engineering, product engineering, and design teams.
  • Partner with technology development organizations to identify, prioritize, and implement reliability and quality improvements.
  • Establish reliability metrics, qualification criteria, and certification requirements supporting technology development milestones.
  • Generate data-driven recommendations used for technology certification and product readiness decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance memory reliability, quality, yield, and manufacturability.
  • Communicate technical findings, reliability assessments, and recommendations to engineering leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support foundry customer engagement activities related to memory qualification, reliability requirements, and technology readiness.

Behavioral traits that we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a disciplined, data-driven approach.
  • Curiosity and a passion for understanding complex technical challenges and failure mechanisms.
  • Ability to independently drive ambiguity toward clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across diverse technical organizations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Sound engineering judgment and attention to detail.
  • Ownership mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced technology development environment.
  • Continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for advancing semiconductor technology.
