About this job

Are you ready to shape how thousands of advertising partners grow their businesses on Amazon? Join the Ads Partner Network team as a Sr. Product Manager - Tech and build the agentic experiences that transform how partners get work done at scale.

We're reimagining partner enablement through intelligent automation and AI-powered solutions, and this role owns the agentic capabilities at the heart of it. You'll start where the leverage is highest, building the agent skills that supercharge our internal partner sales teams (e.g. automating the workflows our partner/agency development managers run today), then extend that foundation outward so partners eventually get the same intelligence directly. Where others define what an assistant should say, you'll define what it can do, and you'll do it in the sequence that compounds: prove the skills internally, then scale them to partners.

Why you'll love this role:

  • High autonomy and ownership, giving you the freedom to explore the agentic space and define which skills we build next
  • Massive impact, since your skills will first make our sales and enablement teams dramatically more effective, then reach the partners growing their businesses on Amazon
  • Innovation culture, building net-new agentic experiences in a space that's genuinely ripe for transformation
  • Cross-functional collaboration, working alongside world-class engineers, scientists, designers, and business leaders who care about partner success

Key job responsibilities

  • Define and own the product roadmap for agentic capabilities, translating internal sales and partner needs into product strategy through market research, competitive analysis, and business cases articulating the vision, internal-first sequencing, and success metrics
  • Understand our partner and agency development managers' workflows through direct engagement and data analysis, then prioritize and deliver agent skills by user impact, business value, and feasibility, building a foundation reusable from internal sales to external partners
  • Partner with engineering and data science to define requirements and build intelligent agent capabilities, composing signals and context from our partner data layer, while aligning sales, business, and operations teams on go-to-market and adoption
  • Define success metrics and KPIs, establish measurement frameworks, and drive continuous improvement by monitoring how your agent skills perform against sales efficiency and task completion
  • Build senior leadership relationships, present product updates to secure buy-in, and influence without authority across stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Stay current on AI/ML trends and emerging agentic techniques, experiment with novel approaches to partner and sales problems, and share learnings to elevate agentic product thinking
  • Manage backlogs, write detailed requirements, navigate ambiguity, and balance short-term internal wins with the long-term investment in partner-facing agentic experiences as the partner base scales

A day in the life

You'll spend your days partnering with engineering and data science teams to build the agent skills powering our partner sales teams first, then advertising partners directly (automating the workflows our partner and agency development managers run today, laying the foundation for the virtual partner managers partners will use tomorrow). Your internal stakeholders span engineers, scientists, business leaders, and partner-facing teams across Ads. Your customers start as the internal teams serving partners and grow to thousands of advertising partners. You'll solve delivering expert-level support at scale, composing signals from our partner data layer into agent capabilities that anticipate needs before they ask.

About the team

We're the Partner Tech team, building the Ads Partner Network, the engine behind Amazon Ads' partner ecosystem. Partners are our customers, and our mission is to empower them to maximize every brand through Amazon Ads. We build the data infrastructure, tooling, and intelligent products that help partners grow while driving value for the advertisers they serve, delivering interface-agnostically so the same signals and context reach every consumer however they work (a UI a partner manager navigates, an API another system calls, an MCP surface vending context to agents, or an agent skill acting on a partner's behalf). Our vision is a world-class ecosystem where top partners unlock the biggest opportunities and we scale impact without scaling headcount.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
