About this job
About Airwallex
Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own.
We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,700 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles to see it in full.
How you'll make impact
You’ll build and run the experimentation engine behind Airwallex’s global growth: what we test, how we test it, and how we know when we’re right.
Own the end-to-end execution of growth experiments and campaigns, translating strategic hypotheses into operational workflows, coordinating launches and rollouts, and synthesising learnings to inform the next iteration.
Manage the experimentation backlog, campaign calendar, measurement approach, tracking taxonomy, dashboards, QA processes, and reporting across Commercial, Growth, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data and Legal.
Identify gaps in tooling and process, then codify repeatable work into scalable systems, including checklists, QA scripts, readout templates and registry libraries. Use AI with clear guardrails and human review before anything customer-facing goes live.
Partner with FP&A on forecasting and budget tracking, balancing speed with experimental rigour, data quality and effective cross-functional execution.
You’ll work from our San Francisco office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
What we're looking for
Essentials
2+ years of experience in growth, operations, product management, or strategy roles
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with data and metrics
Experience designing or coordinating experiments, with familiarity with A/B testing methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesise and present insights clearly
Ability to execute in ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Preferred
You understand holdouts, statistical power and significance, and you’re fluent in SQL and/or analytics tools such as Hex or Looker
You can build and QA campaigns across lifecycle, martech and CDP tooling, and you use automation and AI to make repeatable work scale with appropriate guardrails
You’ve partnered with Engineering and Data teams to deploy experiments at scale
You can prioritise high-impact opportunities, say no to good ideas when needed, and defend decisions with evidence
You move easily between Commercial, Product, Marketing, Data and Legal
You’ve worked in SaaS, fintech or another high-growth technology company and are comfortable with agile and product development methodologies
Experience with growth operations, A/B testing, project management, campaign management, roadmap planning, SQL or Python, stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
You'll thrive here if
You’re comfortable owning the roadmap yourself.
You own the outcome and you don’t wait for permission to fix what’s broken.
You’re not precious about your ideas. You push hard for what you believe in, but you pivot fast when the data says otherwise.
You’re comfortable with ambiguity. Give you a problem, not a prescription, and you’ll run with it.
You connect dots across functions and hold the big picture without losing grip on the details.
Learn more about your team
Growth at Airwallex is building a unified, AI-native growth system across product, sales, and marketing. Rather than applying AI to isolated tasks, we use customer context, machine learning, automation, and continuous learning to transform how Airwallex acquires, activates, converts, retains, and expands customers.
You’ll build high-traffic platforms, experimentation frameworks, and intelligent decision systems that turn signals—such as company profile, product usage, lifecycle stage, behavior, and intent—into personalized journeys, next-best actions, and measurable incremental value.
The work spans both human + AI and autonomous operating models: AI-native tools that increase the leverage of growth teams, alongside agentic workflows that can research opportunities, launch and optimize campaigns, orchestrate customer journeys, and measure outcomes within clear strategies and guardrails.
The challenge is to combine consumer-technology speed with the precision, trust, and regulatory complexity of global B2B finance. If you enjoy owning ambiguous problems end to end, prototyping quickly, measuring real business impact, and using every outcome to improve the next decision, you’ll help define how an AI-native global financial platform grows.
